Hot Day Cold Night

Was supposed going to Cameron Highland this morning with my boss and colleagues, also the practical students. But I have been having this headache since I woke up from my afternoon nap,so I bailed out. I feel a bit bad now hahahaha. Must be the weather and lack of water that got me the headache. It's been so hot though at night it has always been so comfortable to sleep in. Everyday has been so hot that the Sticky candies I got from the girlfriend almost 2 years ago LOL melted. Got no choice but to throw into the bin. So, yesterday I thought of going to the other side of Balakong Jaya which is in the direction of Taman Perindustrian Balakong Jaya 1. I didn't know there are many housing areas further in. I thought only factories. I thought of just checking out the place where this relative of mine live, Bandar Puncak Utama. But it is too far in, so I turned back because my steamed rice was waiting for me... =p Still on going..but nice house..I wonder how much.. Alrea

Bola Bakul or Bola Raga? =P

Raf and Fawwaz. Long time no see.  Since I have my own transport, I've started playing basketball again. I often play at Cyberjaya, there is this basketball court in the middle of food courts, restaurants, bistros. I don't know what's the name of that place but among my basketballer friends, we just call it 'Padi' because there is a restaurant next to the basketball court, named Padi. Or Padi-something. Anyway, since my long lost friend Fawwaz is back for good from the States, I thought it would be a good idea of asking him along. Though he didn't join us and just sat by the court, still jetlag.  Hmm, now that I got some moolah, I can start playing basketball again though maybe this time I will try looking for a nearer place, somewhere in Balakong. Anyone knows? hehehehe

So, What's To Love In Balakong Jaya?

To be honest, nothing. Hahaha, but it has become a place I'm familiar with. Almost 9 months living here. Anyway, I'm gonna answer the questions asked by Guest on my shoutbox. Woot~ There is a RapidKL bus to Ligno Biotech. If you look at the map below, there is a T-Junction (which is no longer a T-Junction because a two-ways road has been built headed to the industrial park) where the bus always stops. The bus number is T417 and you can board it from KTM Serdang which is nearer to Ligno Biotech and also LRT Sungai Besi (which is a bit further).  'A' is Ligno Biotech. There is only one way to reach there which is via the T-Junction. If you turn right you will be going to the shoplots and also Taman Perindustrian Balakong Jaya 1. So, this is Seri Jati Apartment. And Taman...I don't know what's the name of this housing area. It's just located opposite Seri Jati Apartment. The front shoplots. Got market, groceries, MyMydin, Kelantanese restaurant, c

Kari Jepang!

Thanks to Bobby judo , I've perfected my japanese curry!! The pics below were taken during my third attempt in making the curry and I must say it tasted just how I remember a Japanese curry made using the curry roux should taste like. YATTA!!! Oh, why am I blogging about this and not about Ligno Bitoech as I promised in my previous entry? Because I'm hungry..... hehehehehe

Dia Pun Manusia Jugak Apa

Sedang aku membuat comeback  dalam Kdrama (tengok cerita Korea la), tiba-tiba... Eh, apa tu? Eh, eh? Ben Ashaari pun suka maadu.com?? Woahhhh....aku rasa standard aa. Dalam hati ada taman beb!!  ;) hehehehe

Introduction To Ligno Biotech

I think I will make an entry for those interested in being part of the family. Even yesterday after work, my primary school friend and her friend who recently graduated from UIAM, Kuantan came over to see the place and passed me their CVs. And as you can see at my chatbox I have a long question from one of the interviewees yesterday. So, I will keep yourself posted y'all~ hehehehe

Majlis Walimah Kak On Sepupuku (hehehehe)

Happening! Meriah! It was a very joyous occasion. I can't remember when was the last time I got to be with my Penang family at a kenduri kahwin. I even missed few weddings the past 3 years as I was in Australia. The journey this time took me and my bro, Adib to Kota Tinggi. I regretted not leaving work earlier because we didn't make it for the tahlil (and of course MAKANG MAKANG) at Mak Tam's house.  A funny story, me and Adib were quite shocked to see the other side of Kota Tinggi town was pretty much dead at night. We reached the Mayres Hotel around 8-9 pm but the shop lots opposite the hotel were all closed already. It didn't take us long to realise that the centre part of the town is pretty much alive; 24/7 KFC, mamaks', and the shopping mall as well. I plan to go to Kota Tinggi again in the future, perhaps go to Sedili, Pulau Sibu, hopefully. The following day - the big day. Even though everyone stayed in the same hotel, it was only at the majlis I got to me

How My Day Went Today (not that it matters)

So, I received an email from Monash a week ago asking me if I would like to be a volunteer for the predeparture briefing at Monash Sunway for students going to the Australian campuses next semester. I thought why not. And turned out, I was the only former student of Monash turned up to be the volunteer. =___=" RM2 per entry. This is my 3rd time to Monash Sunway. Pretty awesome. Met with two Monash staffs who did a great job preparing for the event.  I miss this place!  Since I was the only volunteer present, I had to speak and share my experience with the audience. I did jumble mumble a bit LOL that's embarrassing. Anyway the students were very excited to fly to Australia since they asked me lots of questions after the session ended. Things like what bank do you recommend, is it easy to get Halal food, can I bring in medicines from Malaysia, food, spices and all that. And they asked if cooking in Australia is a good way to save money. I told them YES, and not

Food Trash Talk

Salam~ and peace be to y'all! I used to start my blog with that tagline long time ago, back when I blogged at Friendster's blog. Heh. Happy Saturday people. And tomorrow is Father's Day. To be honest, on Mother's and Father's Days  I only wish my parents, and I don't usually do any extra special thing. I prefer birthdays y'all~ I don't really have any particular reason why I don't go the extra mile for my parents on those days so it's not like I hate Father's and Mother's Days. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Read The Star online some time ago about Malaysians discarding almost 30 tonnes of food everyday and somehow I wasn't that shocked nor did I  *GASP 30 tonnes?* because I've seen it, we all have witnessed this, and some (or perhaps most of us?) do that. I mean, every time I go to Mamak, fastfoods, any restaurants or foodcourts, never have I seen p

Aku Nak Makan Fish 'N Chips

The ending should have been better but I guess the fighting scenes throughout the movie have compensated for that. Though I must say the first time I saw the trailer I thought, why, this fighting style looks similar. Is it Wing-Chun? HAHAHAHAHAHHA But I enjoyed it. As long as I enjoy a movie, then it's great. I never look into the development of the characters or the story plots - too specific plus I'm just a layman. Few lines I remember from the movie - "Aku nak makan fish n chips", "Abang tak abang, sape kacau pecah!" by Jai. Sounds funny but it did leave me pondering, wondering. How low someone willing to go to just for money. But I gotta say, this movie has lots of catchy lines really. Hahaha and good job Zizan in making the movie less serious and bloody. Eh, maybe not the bloody part. Abang Long Fadhil kena rodok maaa! Abang besar baru habis cuti panjang. Source: Facebook KL Gangster Anyway, I wouldn't mind watching the movie again in the

What Say You?

Watching Movie at Cinema Alone To be honest, I've never done it before...I think? But this time, I'm really desperate to watch this movie "KL Gangster" in cinema and being a cheapskate I am, the ticket price for Wednesday shows is RM8 only right? Right?? Hmm, I haven't had time to do things by myself lately. The past two weeks had been awesome as my bro Adib stayed over so we did a lot of things like going to Low Yat, Alamanda and Kota Tinggi for my cousin - Kak On's wedding. I will update more on that sooon. Thanks to Adib for clearing up, cleaning up my place, looks so much better now. So yeah, I guess tonight will be the time to be with myself alone. And perhaps get a haircut. I can't get my hair spiked up anymore so I guess it's time.  =P hehehehe

Untitled

So finally I'm here blogging about my recent Singapore trip, almost a month ago. Woah...procrastination at its most ultimate-stt level! I didn't go all alone, I went with my ex-colleague, who was also my senior at work. So it was all good. But I went back to Balakong Jaya alone. It was all good, no worries. Aaaaa...where should I start... hmmm Can I just let the pics do most of the blogging? Hahaha, not all, just most. =P Day 1 After meeting up with the gf and her parents at Larkin Was not ready for a pic, I was slouching!! So we went to Marina Bay.  Camwhore #1 Camwhore #2 Camwhore #3 Walking towards Marina Bay Sands..is that the name?  I wanna go up there and take a dip in the swimming pool! So that uniquely weird looking structure is the Science Museum...I think? GF's camwhore. This is only one of many she asked me to take that day. Tsk tsk..shame shame.  XP Camwhore #4. Too bad can't really see the skyscrapers at t
