Yang Menyatukan Kita

"Makan ke bungkus?" tiba-tiba ada satu sapaan dari sebelah kiri aku. "Eh, makan ada, bungkus pon ada juga," aku membalas. "Ooo, kawan nak bungkus je plannye," terangnya kembali. "Kenapa tak makan je, ada kosong banyak lagi meja ni ha" "Kawan nak balik Melaka, orang rumah tunggu nak bersalin ni." "Begitu ke..kerja mana?" "Kawan cikgu je, dekat TIGS ni je.." "Err, sorry saya bukan orang Batu Pahat ni. Hahaha, apa tu?" "Hahaha, maaf le, kawan ingatkan orang sini. Temenggung Ibrahim Girls School" "Ooooo...." bunyi ooo aku dah seperti Pendekar Bujang Lapuk masuk sekolah. Pakcik ni tau-tau je aku nak tangkap gambor. Aku nak tunjukkan long queue, padahal kedai tak ambik order lagi! "Pakcik, makan ke bungkus ni?" aku menegur Pakcik di belakang aku. "Makan sini la dik, baru sedap, panas-panas!" Pakcik tu sedikit teruja. ...

We Appreciate It When It Is Gone

What is it, that we appreciate only when it is gone? Could be anything you know. Anything we have taken for granted. Well, the story I'm about to tell next does not mean I am taking the "thing"-that-I-am-gonna-tell you-guys-afterwards, for granted. Just that, when stuff like this happens, it happens. Do you really think you have the power, control over the past? Nope. So, hear me out y'all. Or should I say, read me out. LOL Anyway it was a fine Monday afternoon. Just finished doing my work somewhere at the Bandar Tun Hussein Onn (does the Hussein ada huruf 'i'? and decided to stop by doing some chicken shopping at the Carrefour there. To my surprise, the Carrefour was no longer there, because there is AEON Big taking over that place. Haven't been there God knows how long. Anyway anyway, parked the car quite far off from the entrance (that's how I like to burn some extra calories on my junkfoods-stuffed-for-a-year body) and grabbed my wallet and m...

Sahur - The Right Time To Feast...I think?

I don't usually eat a lot during iftar, I always have combinations of dates, water, with nestum with milo, biscuits, currypuffs; any of this whichever I feel like eating. To me, since iftar is almost close to sleeping time, it would not be wise to indulge yourself too much. Or maybe it's just me. Because 2 weeks ago when I went back to Kerteh, I had terrible stomachache the next day. I can't even count how many times have I been in the toilet. So, for me sahur is the best time to feasttt. But once in a while I do eat a lot for iftar. Just last Saturday I went for bukak puasa gathering with my high school buddies. It was the biggest turn out so far, almost 30 of us. Out of 120. hahaha, a grand reunion shall be in plan... Penceria majlis. My roommate in my last year at SESMA - the head student, Hisham KP as we fondly call him hahaha. Got back from Japan some 5 months ago. So, for today's sahur I made Udang Masak Kunyit, stir-fried cabbage, and scrambled e...

Smells Like

Durian and not teen spirit huahuahauh! I guess this is what we Malays always say "Rezeki Masing-masing". I had been craving for durians for quite some time but every time I had to stop myself from buying because I don't want the car to smell like durian (extra care sama kereta hohohoho) So it was a pleasant surprise when I first smelled something like durian when I was doing some work in the office. Then Ms. Ng asked me to eat the durians which were given by a supplier (you can say that) for our Tiger Milk Mushroom capsules. Quite a lot of the durians packed in lunch boxes and God, they look lovely, delicious. Tergugat iman orang berpuasa. As I couldn't possibly eat, tapau was the only answer =P Apparently the supplier own a hill of durian trees in Semenyih. Pak Ngah aku pon ada (nak eksyen)  I thought of having the durian with pulut >____<  but I didn't know glutinous rice can be so expensive. 2kg for RM10.50??? So I had to scrape that off and settle...

Adventurous Weekend 3

Dah masa ni la nak gi jalan-jalan jumpe member gi makan siang-siang, kekgi (nanti) bulan pose dok dang doh! So, Saturday, went out on a date LOL jks to this MLM's sports day. My friend Hussen asked me to join I thought why not (i was hoping for freebies LOL) so I went to the...botanical garden? Somewhere near/in Taman Bukit Jalil. Never knew such place existed.  As I was getting near to all the crowd I got a bit you know, nervous LOL because I was just wearing plain t-shirt and all these people wearing red shirts, orange, blue, green with the company's name on the shirts. Psyched! Thank you Hussen for getting me one red shirt so that made me a member of the red team for the day. (hence the first freebie...perhaps the only one I got from the sport's day =P) Ambik ko...orang berduyun-duyun...  I spent most of the time eating and just watching supporting the red team. The ABC and nasi lemak were okay I guess. I was kinda hungry. Red Team! yang banyak 10 tu pas...

Adventurous Weekend 2

Not that adventurous la, just that no thanks to the GPS I got into that place, this place. Sometimes I wonder why is it that every time I decide to give the GPS a chance to prove itself (or herself LOL) it will just screw it up? Never listen to Eminem's Lose Yourself is it?? So yesterday I went out to pick my man Ermie at Shah Alam because we had planned for this makang besor since last week at William's! Yeah, I've heard about it lots of time. The first time I heard of the place, Mr. President Kai and Yihorng asked me to join them but since I stayed in Bangi at the time and didn't have my own transport, regrettably I had to decline their kind offer. So I thought this time around I would be able to pop the William's cherry (sounds so wrong LOL). And to prepare myself (or rather my stomach) for the big makang, I didn't even have a single decent and proper meal yesterday. Only drank water. Hardcore man! The hardcore boys Kat Federal Highway, tak sah kalau...

What is this fruit's other name in Terengganu? Or east coast of Malaysia? Mango during its teenager time..mango goes teen = mangosteen =P No prize for guessing it right though. Kacang goreng sangat soalan tu. =P hehehehe

Kari Jepang!

Thanks to Bobby judo , I've perfected my japanese curry!! The pics below were taken during my third attempt in making the curry and I must say it tasted just how I remember a Japanese curry made using the curry roux should taste like. YATTA!!! Oh, why am I blogging about this and not about Ligno Bitoech as I promised in my previous entry? Because I'm hungry..... hehehehehe

If You're Happy Then You Know It

No thanks to all the worrying stuffs going on in my life. But hey that's what I call living. No problems in life equals to not living life at all. Well, to me at least.  Anyway, what's for dinner guys? Imma start my first entry of the month with the pictures of my dinner just now. Nothing grandiose or luxury or mouthwatering, just this~ Preparing black pepper sauce Phone camera getting dodgy-er. *hint hint* So I had chicken in black pepper sauce for dinner today. Well, was craving for one especially the one made by the gf last time when we were in Gippsland. Ah~good old days. At the moment I am craving my mom's vegetable soup. I don't know, my version of vege soup is not the same as my mom's so I guess I will give her a call tomorrow after work.  Work? Oh don't talk about it. Hahaha it's all good but not always but like I've said it's all good. Oh, and my boss is posting up another job ads - one as a Production Executive and another as a P...

Weird Of the Week! (WOW!) =P

Tomyam for lunch?

Let's Be Awesome!

So, what do you do when you get sick? Me? I get tired, and sleepy, and after awhile, I get hungry!!! Was craving for these just now before dinner. =P Of course, eat in moderation. Too much is not good, too little also no good.  hehehehehe

I Think I Wanna Marry You

Hmm, adventurous weekend? Hahaha not sure what words can I use to describe it but it was a good one. Not one where I spent lazing around in my room, playing games, watching Jdramas, and just browsing all those postgraduate courses offered by unis with no further intention to take action...=___= So, thanks to my Pak Long and family for their hospitalities. Got to meet my Wan as well, though as usual she seemed to not remember me when she first saw me. I guess it must be quite upsetting to not remember your family members. Long story cut short, Selamat Pengantin Baru Abang Eindy and Kak..Roza? SOrry! Lawa seh pelamin... Uncle trying the cendol Raja Dan Permaisuri Sehari..dah dua hari dah. hehehe With the groom's mother The bubur kacang durian?  Cendol Kg. Jiboi. Apparently it is famous in Seremban? Though the tall songkoks really caught my attention.  Potong KEK! With the pengantin. Hehhee Oh, I got a new ride. Thanks to Abah and Mak for their ...
