Off I Go Then

To: Melbourne Aim: Submit Visa Renewal Application Hope: To not get deported back and even if I have to be deported, give me until 2nd April to pack things up. LOL Ciao~ *updated* So far so good. I have got my bridging visa which lets me stay in Australia until my application for new visa is granted. But too bad, I didn't find out before I went to my friend's place that I need to fill up two forms prior to tomorrow's medical check up. Baaahh! Looks like I have to go out earlier than planned. =P

What do you think?

How is this new look? I really have a bad taste when it comes to this kind of thing; choosing the right colour, design. So this is the first time I've done such a change to my blog since starting it again in 2008. Let's hope, I will keep this blog lively!!

New Look!

Surprise!! Wow! The girlfriend asked me last night if she could help with a makeover on my blog. I said, yeah sure. I know she's really good with this kind of thing with colours, deco and stuff. Wow...I still don't know what to say besides I love it!! Oh, but not the picture of me up there..it is a bad picture..hahaah Other than that, it is marvellous! I owe her one...hmmm hehehhe *updated* NICE one!! XD honto ni arigato!!! ~lalalala~

My First Massive Dinner

Well, not that massive. Just for 3 people. Meant to cook for 5, but the other 2 couldn't make it. Guess what? It's nasi lemak. =) My first attempt with ayam goreng berempah. All this time always ayam goreng kunyit. Made sambal udang instead of sambal ikan bilis for the nasi lemak. Couldn't find it in Woolworths, the supermarket here. I had a great time, got to eat with my imoto and my new housemate, Lester as he is the only one with no plan for weekend. The others already gone home. Oh yeah, when I was cooking, Abah called. He asked what I was doing at that time so I told him about my plan. I guess he must be impressed with my survival skill (I'm not gonna call it culinary skill =P), The girlfriend asked some of it hahaha...which reminds me, she said she likes my chicken rice hahaha =P. I think the next time I should try cooking at home. I've been meaning to but since I don't really know where are the ingredients and stuff back home, it would make me look bad a...

Celebrities =P

So jealous. I never got to be on TV. =P

Thursday - Funny Pics Day

As I said before, Thursday is the funny pics day. Though I don't know if you guys will find them funny or not. And this time I got this video "My Mom On Facebook". It's an old video but I thought those who haven't watched it can do so =P Hahahaha Imagine us 5 siblings get this kind of comment on our walls...hahahah LOL my dad is awesome so I need not to worry. Hehehe I believe that's what we call stalker Speechless.. =P

What's going on?

Wow! If only I didn't put everything at last minute. This Thursday I am going to Melbourne to renew my visa. Finally. And my assignment is going well so far. Man..I haven't got out of the house at all yesterday. I can really survive on my own eventhough it's a bit lonely..hahahaha By the way, I thought of putting up the pics from the Flag Night last week. It was alright. Though not many people like last year. And not many people stayed back to take pics with the flags. Some like me and the other basketballers rushed back home to change and went for basketball at Kurnai right after the dessert LOL Me carrying the flag of Myanmar aka Burma My man, Semun proudly with his South Korean flag. The flagbearers Weng Kwong, a fellow Malaysian. =) Pamela and Nabil. hehehehe Me and Dicky. Ore to Pamela, ore no imoto =P With the new students (front, seating) With Greenie (2nd from right) and her bf, Matt. In between me and Wei Kwong is Xinyi. hahaha

Gamer Forever..I guess?

Well, I think I am going to be pretty much a gamer throughout my whole life. I have started playing since I was 5 or 6 years old. Abah bought me and my bro Adib a game console, I think it was Atari? Anyway, after that very first console we own, we got Microgenius. That was fun as. Our favourite games at the time were Double Dragon, Ninja Turtle, and...what else...I can only recall those two. The point is, I don't think I am going to quit playing video games, because there are many breakthrough, progress made. Who would have thought something like Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Natal and Playstation Move could come to reality? With the point made just now, I don't think I am going to play any new Pokemon games. Why? It's pretty much the same storyline. You get to choose one of 3 pokemons at the start of the game, and then go on the adventure of being the best pokemon trainer by collecting badges, defeating the crooks and villains, bla bla bla bla yada yada. But I would love to see ...

Bored?

I wasn't, I was lost, didn't feel like finishing the only assignment I have until this morning. Suddenly I feel like reborn, rejuvenated. God works in a mysterious way. Just like that, I got on my feet and been working on my assignment. By the way, just in case you guys are bored and got nothing to do, you guys might get inspirations/motivations from these pics. The girlfriend sent me these pics because she thinks I would find it funny. No, its not funny, its hilarious =P The guy who came up with these, either he got too much time in hand to get all these flies, or he got a farm of flies in his kitchen. hehehehe p/s: got other pics which can be grouped as these pics above, got them from friends and Abah. LOL

Simply Tired

I woke up early this morning, with the intention of finishing my only assignment for this year. Only to find myself sleeping again and woke up at 1 pm, and after my grocery shopping and early dinner late lunch around 5 pm, I fell asleep again and woke up at 8.45 for Maghrib gajah =_=" Such is the effect of playing basketball, full court for the first time in 5 months.. My body is still aching all over... but I am now doing my assignment. Hooray!! These two photos were taken in 2007 second semester when the Mugsu Basketball Club was founded by Lambert Zhang, a fellow basketballer and a friend I met here in Monash Gippsland.

Flag Ceremony Dinner

Well, it's an annual event. Gonna update you guys more on this. I don't think I have a photo of me at Flag Ceremony Dinner 2007. In that year, I got to carry the flag of Malaysia! Oh yeah!! I didn't go in 2008 but last year I did. It was the best so far. I'm not sure about this year. Oh, it is called the Flag Ceremony as international students got to carry the flags of their respective countries. The fun part about this event is that, sometimes the International Student Support Unit can't find students from certain countries like Thailand, Myanmar, so other international students who are from Malaysia or Singapore, can volunteer themselves to carry those flags. Hahahaha. And this time, me, Nabil and Rasyid will be carrying Myanmar, Thailand and Brunei respectively. Hope it will be a bit fun for me. This was last year. Taken by Amalina Sujak.

Not Registered Yet!

Oh well, I thought I have been registered in MRS database and could have internet access. But apparently not!! ARGHHH!!! I didn't go through all these stages. Because now I am in Semun's room, connected to his wireless connection!! WAAHAHAHAHHA!!! Don't get mad, get creative =P

Moving In

I finally got a place in West residence. It feels good to be back to West. South is alright, just that I need a change of environment, get to know other people and not stuck with the same people. Good thing my house is just next to Pam's. =) All of my housemates are first year Med students, Australian Asians (got such terms? LOL). So far, they are all friendly. I did say, "Sorry to dissapoint you guys" cause they thought I am a Med student as well. Hahahaha. For now I am hanging out at the Malay guys' place. Smell of tomyam is making me hungry now.. tomyam anyone? Oh well, I haven't been eating properly so I guess something soupy can do something with my appetite. =P hehehehehe

Fooyoh!!!

Just dropped by at my former company's online magazine - Fooyoh! . Can't believe I was there, working for a month. It was really a good experience. I think I wanna talk about it, just a bit. Hahahah =P There were 8 of us at the time when I worked at the company. What we do; publish articles online on Fooyoh.com which has other sister sites such as geekapolis, iamchiq, geraldinho, menknowpause. It has pretty much everything in it. Hi-tech gadgets, funny clips, funny pics, tips, advices, short articles, reviews on movies, songs, artists, architectural design, blabla. I did well on my first day. But it seems that I couldn't do better than first day, so I was quite struggling. Only when I got to do stuffs about football and sports like basketball, I found myself quite comfortable doing the jobs. Nevertheless, my colleagues who were my seniors there were very helpful and friendly. Oh yeah, the boss is a Korean! =P I am really grateful that I got this internship for a month as I...

Chong Wei WON ALL ENGLAND!!!

Sorry Chong Wei for not watching all your matches en route to winning the All England title!!!! It's all good Danny boy. I had fun with Gade in semi final. Yeah, that's right. Kneel down before me Gade! By the way, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! XD I think this is the first time a Malaysian has won the men's title in All England since Hafiz Hashim. It was expected that he would have an easy final as he faced up Japanese Kenichi Tago. Once again, [ AFP ] and [ TheStarOnline ]

Change of Mood

I guess I should stop thinking of myself lowly. Thanks to Bii, friends; Pam, Xinyi, Semun, Greenie, Alva and the Malay families here who have been supportive. I know what I did was really terrible but thanks for not treating me coldly. Appreciate that. I met Kak Ja & Fam and Abang Zainal & Fam for the first time this year yesterday. Had lunch at KFC and later on dinner there. Me and Nabil played some tennis too. Was pretty tiring since hadn't played tennis for quite some time. And around 2pm today I went to West court for basketball. Was a good idea to play basketball. Got to meet up with the other basketballers; Jackie, Alfred, Jude, and Ash. After that I went to South 3, where Semun is staying to pass him his cigarette. LOL And I just hanged out at the comp lab until 6.30pm since Pam wanted to make me dinner. So around 6.40 or so, me, Pam and her housemate Jansen, had dinner together. She made her famous vegetarian noodle. As always, it was awesome. Met two Malaysians in ...

For now

Wow, I can feel the atmosphere in this blog of mine has changed. Maybe because of how I am feeling right now, and the previous 2 posts. Anyway, for now I am staying with the bachelors for 2 nights maybe. And I am gonna apply to stay in West residence. I really hope there is a vacancy. And I am gonna make things right this time. Aishh...I feel extremely bad...Damn it..

The Truth

I am back in Gippsland. The truth is, I still have one more unit left. I failed that unit in 2009 first semester. My lecturer told me I don't have to go for lab anymore. And as the course advisor said that it might be good that I don't have to stay in Gippsland for another semester just because of this one unit, I thought I could just stay in Malaysia. Do internship, and take the final exam in Monash Sunway. Too bad, things usually don't happen the way you want them too. I was informed that I can't change my exam venue to Sunway. I have to take the exam here. Which leaves me no choice but to renew my student visa which is expiring this Monday 15th March. But it has been sorted out. I hope. Another problem, I didn't tell some people the truth. The Malays in Gippsland, and some of my friends in Gippsland. I feel really embarassed to face them. Most people are surprised to see me here. But when told about my circumstances (I am prepared to receive a cold-"I can...

The Road Not Taken

I was in dilemma last night. Well, throughout my whole life, I have always been in a dilemma. Left to make a choice. Which road to take. To remind myself that life is also about making choices, that can be hard most of the time. Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that, the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. by Robert Frost

le Tour de Langkawi

People waiting by the road side. And I joined them! Hahaha Salam and greeting people After many many years, I finally got to watch le Tour de Langkawi live at Kerteh. The last time I watched those cyclists in action was 11 years ago??? Waaa... You know the riders LOL are not far if you see the convoys; security car, police patrol, and air unit. Even before waiting for them by the road side, I had been checking their current location at the official website of Le Tour de Langkawi . I remember picking up my brother from school at 11.30 am because he had to change for his basketball tournament. Some of the students were already waiting! I mean, at that time I checked they were still somewhere in Bukit Besi, which is like an hour or two away from Kerteh? The teachers should have done better, not wasting the students' time waiting for almost 2 hours. They were so fast! I was lucky to bring my camera along! There was a commotion and there I saw this one guy got problem with the rear tyr...

Wolverine goes Japan?

Wow!! Wow!! Breaking news people! Since I am a fan of wolverine and his bad-ass adamantium claws, so this is big to me. There will be a new Wolverine movie, a sequel to the first one, X-Men Origins:Wolverine. This second movie will be based on the comic by Frank Miller and Chris Claremon (no idea who is Chris Claremont LOL) and it is gonna be in Japan! [ShowBiz411 ]
