My Achievements In The Kitchen

Mari Memasak Bersama Abang Dan! (ahaks) ..macam pondan pon ada. Hahaha. =P Nope, I am not going to start my own cooking show. I'm no Chef Wan or Jamie Oliver or a Masterchef. Though my housemates called me a Masterchef last week for making apple crumble. Yeah, got that right homies, APPLE CRUMBLE! huahuahaua!! =P I was having this craving for apple crumble, apple cake the past few weeks. To buy them is pretty expensive, so I thought might as well make them myself since I got flour and self raising flour too. Hehehe I succeeded in making apple cake and apple crumble. Man, am I proud of myself. At least before I got to experience making and cooking stuffs in the kitchen, which I never thought I would have done before. Man.. Take a look at the pictures! XD Apple crumble before I put it in the oven. I forgot to take a picture of it after baked and chilled in the fridge. hahaha I shared it with my housemates and Pam. ;) Apple cake! Woo!! Looks nice alright. I got this recipe to mak...

Is This The Last Time?

Heyya! Now I'm here to update on the Badminton Club's gathering on Thursday. Though I was late, but I managed to get few shots of myself thanks to ore no imoto, Pam! Hahaha. The 2 tier cake Pam made. Banana and chocolate. I just can't remember which one is at the top..hmm Makang!!! Hahahaha, See how happy all these people are? Well, food brings us together =P Certs for Xindi (left) and me but since I wasn't there, Pam got it on my behalf. Arigatou naa, imoto! You don't wanna mess around with Pam, that's what happens usually. Poor Fong Fah.. Once I got at the Rec Hall after the game, I didn't waste any time eating! Hahah..oh seksi plak aku..the short is not that short, maybe because the way I sat =P Well I hope the club will still be around and we will get some local students to join the club and play badminton like last time. The last time we had them was 2009 first semester. =S Need better publicity guys. Hehehe

This was supposed to be posted on Thursday but..

I was busy preparing for Badminton Club's end of semester gathering, which I had to miss at the beginning since I got my basketball competition in Morwell. Oh well, just another Pokemon joke. Hahah... Yeah I know, it's not funny at all!!! =S hehehehe

Waa...

Kemalasan melanda diri. Mentang-mentang markah setakat ini bagus, malas la nak study haa?? Oh, and so tired after 40 mins of basketball, first time in my history LOL. And luckily I didn't screw up as much as I did in my first match last month. Did some assists, almost scored 4 points =P and good steals. Oh yeah! Wishing Semun can play next Thursday!! C'mon Semun Seong!! Aja aja fighting!!!! hehehehe

Let's Cry

I'm not that computer savvy but at least I know what OS my laptop is running on. And that Firefox is not an OS. LOL -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For my work-study job, I work tech support at a small college. One night I was working Help Desk and the phone rings. I pick it up to have a student telling me she can't get the computer to work. Me: "What operating system are you running?" Student: "Hunh?" Me: "Do you have a Mac or a PC?" Student: "Um, I don't know." Me: "Ok. What does the screen look like?" Student: "It's yellow." Me: "Ok. What does it say on the computer CPU?" Student: "What's that?" Me: "The big grey box." Student: "It doesn't say anything." Me: "Never mind that...do you have a little 'Start' button at the bottom of the monitor?" Student: "...

Robofish?

I only heard about creeping robots, walking robots, but not swimming robots. Now there is Robofish! Got that right! And we should be thankful that the fish we buy from the market is not as expensive as this Robofish. One of these costs about $30000 to manufacture. Holyshirt!! Speaking of Holyshirt , I just got the t-shirts that I ordered last week! WOoohoo!! =P No, $30000 not so that you can watch these fishes swim and get eaten by other bigger fishes, no. $30000 with the objective of detecting and getting rid of the pollutants in the water. As for now, the first batch of these Robofishes are being used somewhere in River Thames. No offense to the scientists who came up with this Robofish, but I think something should be done about the price? My lecturer's biosensor project seems more feasible and affordable too. Hohoho =P If you wanna know the details of how the Robofish works, hit on the link below. Woohoo! I wonder if these swimming robots will work well at the Gulf of Mexico......

Old Time

If my cousin Kak Ja showed off =P her husband's long hair when he was young not long ago in her blog, I wanna show off the longest hair I ever had! Hahahah =P It was in 2008, when I decided not to cut my hair huahuahaua!! XP At SRA Ball, the first time I had the hairband on. Everyone was like wow! =P The picture of me with my BFFs wearing red shirts not because we are supporters of Thaksin! but were going to support Australian football team Sydney Swan against Collingwood Magpie. In the bus going to Out of India Restaurant before final exam 2008 with BFFs. The picture at the right was my last time in Melbourne before I flew back home. Just 1 week before I got the hair cut. With that, I didn't cut my hair for a total of 1 year and few weeks. LOL But I have to admit, I think I would look better with hair shorter than that. Hahaha, well at least I've experienced having long hair. =P Oh and of course I still can't compete with Mr. Zack LOL. hehehehe

CO2 emissions, birth & death rates by country, simulated real-time

CO2 emissions, birth & death rates by country, simulated real-time I stumbled upon this cool website using the " stumbleupon " toolbar browser. What this site shows you is exactly what the photo caption above says, the carbon dioxide emissions, birth and death rates in every country in this world. How cool is that? Don't get it wrong, this real-time thing, is just simulated based from the data obtained from reliable sources; CIA Factbook and United Nations Statistics Division. So, even though the data used to display such simulation is pretty much reliable, in real life, the CO2 emissions, birth and death rates in every country might differ a bit. Whether or not what is displayed there is true, it is pretty much an indication of what's going on in this world just in case you never give a damn. Hahaha =P China is certainly the winner in every aspect. Statistic - 1 person dies every 3.7 seconds, 1 person born every 1.4 seconds (WTH??) and 1000 tonnes of CO2 released...

Appresiasi =P

Thank you, thank you! =P Shoutout to my cousin Kak Ja because most of the new readers that I got for the past weeks have been from her blog! Woohoo!! XP And not to forget, Tupaikaran as well!! ;)

Rage

The last time I had been in a fight, I was stopping my housemate who was drunk from getting all crazy with my other two housemates. You see, that's what alcohol does to your brain. You just lose it all, and WHAM! So, don't drink. For Muslims, don't drink or you will sin. Anyway, as usual every Thursday got basketball competition. And on that day, I decided to play in the C-grade games only, which on that day we won 67-10. But nothing to be extra happy because the opponent team only got 4 players. Well, 2 of them were really good, but that's it. Heh. =P And the B-grade game was played later after the C-grade game. That day, we got new player, an African guy. He's tall alright, but his skills are not polished enough, maybe not enough practice. We were trailing way behind. And sometimes during the first half of the game, the black guy complained, said that he was fouled by the opponent player. The ref said game on and he wasn't happy, shook his head. Not long after...

Smash It Down

I've been a member of Monash Badminton Club since my 2nd semester of first year. From there, I started hanging out with new people, getting to know other people I'd never seen before. Of course, at first my skills were still in high school. But after a long time playing, can see the difference. My back hand at least has become way better than before. One of the things I'm gonna miss about Gippsland is the badminton club. How I've been through a lot with the club. I became the president in my 2nd year 2nd semester. Until last semester. And this semester I came back unplanned and unexpectedly, though I felt a bit bitter to have to stay here for another semester, being in the badminton club again makes me feel all better. Well, I stay in the committee but not as the president but secretary. At least I got to tell the new committee what should they do and all. But even without me, they should be alright. There's always Eric, the club advisor who will watch over the club...

Thursday - Cool Pics Of The Day

Steve Jobs (Apple co-founder) and Bill Gates (Microsoft founder)reminiscing the good old days. And they mean it. If the cartoon characters do grow old, probably they would get into such things in Uni/College life like others huh? =P I censored it. LOL feeling any better looking at the pic? I guess censoring it makes it not funny anymore Never lose focus of your goal. In zombies' case, BRAIN. How cool is that??? Reality check, any permanent alteration to your DNA which is beyond repair, you are most likely to die. Not turned into one of the fancy costumed superheroes. =P Clearly Pinky wasn't even looking on the road. That's how Pinky and Karla got into accident =P My mom is cool!! And I don't have to be like this guy =P

Better Than Pizza Hut's For Sure XP

I've been having the same stuff almost everyday but I'm not sick of it. Not yet. Hahahha. Last week, I learned how to make mushroom soup. Nope, not from can people. From scratch. Hehehehe.. It is pretty easy, and you won't screw up for sure. I got the recipe from myresipi.com. Mushroom soup Mushroom soup with garlic butter spread on toasts. Bibimbab This, is korean mixed rice sort of. I learned it from my man Semun. You just mixed chilli paste, with fried chicken, scrambled egg, and vegetables. Can be cucumber, carrot, cabbage. Well, I only add cabbage, easy - cut to pieces, wash. Or is it wash, then cut to pieces? =P But it's tasty..man.. Want a bit more kick? Maybe can add a bit of sesame oil? Hehehehe... Why am I talking about food? No reason really. =P By the way, did you know that if you don't have enough sleep, or if you stay up late for the sake of studying, you will only get yourself hungry? Yeah, seriously. And you will gain weight that way. I don't h...

koibito

The girlfriend likes to send stuff over from Singapore. hehehe.. Recently she sent few presents to mark our first anniversary. *blush* My favourite Poem..arts student, what do you expect =P Now, how am I supposed to bring all these back? Can leave them here not? XP joking joking

Mozilla Firefox Went Crazy

Damn..that's why been unable to update my blog. I don't want to use Google Chrome cos I'm so used to Firefox. You see, when it has become a habit, you just find it hard to change and adapt. Talk about comfort zone. =P Look at the CPU for Mozilla Firefox. Almost 100%!! It slowed down the laptop that I had no choice but to use Chrome to look for solutions. I have googled and apparently things like this happen for few reasons; 1. Memory leaks 2. Because of Windows Defender (I don't really get the reasons why because it's so technical =/) 3. If you put your laptop on stand-by and it got interrupted (something like that) After trying out all the solutions for those likely causes, now Mozilla Firefox is up and running without consuming too high of memory and CPU too. COol... I love internet! XP

How Much You Care?

Does how much you now show how much you care? Hope not. Because apparently, most young Malaysians care about Malaysia, just that they just can't be bothered to know any event related to Malaysian politics. I wanna talk more about this but I'm stuffed. Should I go to bed now? Maybe at 9.. =P

Hmmmm

Waa..writer's block!! Now that Thomas Cup is over, Culture Night done, I got only studying to do. And few small stuffs. Need to get the mood to study back. Youthsays.com is awesome. I pretty much have a rough idea what most Malaysian youths think about. The questions asked there are pretty much trivial. And repetitive. "Apa yang akan anda buat jika gf anda merajuk?", "Kenapa kena ada temuduga kerja?", "AF dan Mentor, mana lagi best" and stuffs like that. Hahaha. Don't believe me? Go and look at the questions asked there yourself. Not like it's a bad thing to ask all these stuffs. I guess people need rooms for them to do not so serious things, asking random questions to strangers on the net. On the other hand, strangers have no obligation (sort of) to be nice and not being honest when it comes to answering, especially when you won't be seeing each other face to face. You don't know personally those who answer your questions. Only ...
