Kalau Kau Bulan Aku

"Apa la budak ni. Dah pakai tudung buat lah cara pakai tudung. Sama je aku tengok dengan perangai lama dia!" "Amende yang ko duk membebel ni, siak?" Daney mencelah, buat-buat tanya sebab dah berapa kali member dia, Tengku Adib membebel seorang diri, seolah-olah mengumpan Daney untuk join in conversation. "Ni ha, pompuan ni dulu aku kenal dowh. Masa sekolah dulu. Oklah cun juga, tapi badan kurus sangat masa tu. Satu lagi tak pakai tudung, sebab dia stail wild and free camtu ha," Tengku Adib menjelaskan latar belakang cerita. "Oooo..jadinya?" Daney bertanya, kali ni sedikit berminat nak tahu lebih lanjut. "Tak ah, sekarang dah pakai tudung, tapi perangai sama je aku tengok, wild and free." "Apa yang dia buat, dok, sampai kau tak puas hati benor ni?" Daney bertanya lagi. "Ni ha, ada kawan dia tag gambar diorang gi bridal shower member diorang. Wah, meriah habis kau!" "Hmmm...." ...................

My 2 Cents: The Lost Art of Giving A Shit *UPDATE*

Okay. Where was I. Sorry I was rushing nak publish I don't even know why I didn't just save this as draft. I was at a company's event when I started writing about this. Anyway, anyway, now I'm just chilling at KFC because they got wifi yeah, and also  to check out any potential nurses to be my personal one no I'm just kidding I won't do that I mean I shadap Danial. Okay. It's actually harder than it seems updating your blog using iPad because I am so used to the keyboard. Anyway here goes. Original article can be found here After posting this up few days ago, I had the chance to do more thinking, on the article, Aziz's show, my personal experience, friends' as well. I now share the same sentiment as Aziz. Why are we giving less shit now? Perhaps, most likely because we are so connected that we have become the least isolated generations. It's the digital age now, zaman IT,teknologi maklumat and whatnot. We got internet, then Wifi ever...

My 2 Cents: The Lost Art of Giving A Shit

Aku sebenarnya tak tau mana nak mula cerita. Even though the first few seconds are important, aku kira agak tidak adil untuk menutup peluang kepada sesuatu hanya kerana bad first impression. Tengok, aku dah melalut ke laut. Few months back aku ada terbaca satu post kat Thought Catalog, pasal " The Lost Art of Giving A Shit ". And no, it ain't got nothing to do with the ancient and efficient way excrete your waste through your rear opening, pooping, doing No.2, berak dan istinjak besar. Eh, ada ke istinjak besar... Anyway, it is about caring about things. When I read the article, it kinda hit me;  the 'getting in the shape' part', dating and career. But of course, regardless of how many times I nodded my head in agreement for every sentence I read, masuk telinga kanan keluar telinga...

Panas, panas panas! Pusing, pusing pusing!

Agak buntu di situ. Mana mau mula tak tahu. Why not we start with the end that we all hope for? By the way, pretty sure in any English writing examination it is not acceptable, grammatically speaking to write "we all". So, adik-adik silalah tulis "all of us". If memory serves me right, lah kan? Sekarang cuaca makin panas. Global warming is real. Aku seriously tak paham kenapa ada politicans kat Australia cakap benda ni cuma hoax dan urban myth. Ni back when I was in Gippyland. Aku follow gak political scene kat sana. Sana menarik sikit sebab orang sana takdelah nak resort to violence kalau kau tak sekepala politik dengan diorang. Kiranya life goes on la. Teringat housemate aku fondly known as Brownie (dia mengingatkan aku kepada Marshall HIMYM) dia ni macam penyokong tegar kerajaan John Howard (predecessor si Tony Abbott tu) dan dia berapi gak time cakap pasal ni dengan housemates yang lain. Dan keberapian dia tu k...

Mimpi Itu Mainan Tidur

Every now and then I heard people say that. I thought that so before. That dreams are just dreams. As a result of some brain activity whatnot. I could be wrong so you guys can just google it. I dream a lot. In my sleep. Almost every time I sleep, there will be dreams in it and I almost always manage to remember it. Though I heard some facts passed around in social media that actually you only remember 5% of your dreams after few minutes you wake up. I don't know how true is this but in my case, that 5% seems like a movie. Imagine if I do remember the whole dreams! Few years back I always experienced something like deja vu though I can't be 100% sure if it really is dejavu. If I really did go to the future in my dreams or I was just misled because it felt familiar back then, the whole event, thing, occassion that took place that made me feel like I already did this, came here, said these words to this person. When that happened, I would usually feel excited, and scream out, ...

No Life

Masa aku belajar kat Gippsland, Australia dulu, aku selalu jugak succumb tu peer pressure. Atau pun, bahasa Inggerisnya, NO LIFE. Tapi aku berterima kasih kat Dicky sebab selalu paksa aku keluar ikut dia. Cuma lagi bagus kalau dia paksa aku jadi gym buddy  dia ke. Hahaha. LOL. 10 Signs You Have No Life . Bolehlah pergi kat artikel tu sendiri baca dan hayati. Fahami. Nak aku suapkan takut tak sampai. Yang aku rasa terkena dekat aku no. 1, 9 dan 10. Tapi sebenarnya i...

Mula Dengan Pengakhiran Di Minda

Aku perasan, kalau aku tidur balik lepas Subuh biasanya memang aku jadi malas hari tu. Aku perasan, kalau aku tak tidur lepas Subuh dan kemas katil (atau toto LOL), bilik, buat sikit kerja rumah, aku jadi rajin sikit. Tambah lagi dengan makan breakfast, memang rasa I CAN TAKE THE WHOLE WORLD (Insya Allah) punya feeling.

If Marriage Is Not For Me

This was meant to come out yesterday but I did not make it. Too many things to do =P First of all, Salam 1435Hijrah to all my Muslim brothers and sisters! Happy holiday to all Malaysians. Hope y'all make full use of this one day break in the middle of the week. As for me, I am planning to go to a friend's wedding reception which is not that far from here..I guess? Gonna hit the gym later in the evening (today is biceps and triceps day!) and follow up with clients. Do some reading. I can live my life like this for 3 years and you will not hear me complaining about it. It has become a habit. A habit I thought I had thrown out and would never able to commit after a year of indiscipline, stuffing junk foods into my body and no exercise. Anyway, this morning I came across this story shared by Half Our Deen on facebook. It's a good one really, about marriage. And it further confirms this, sort of, theory I have that love is not a word. It is a verb. It is an act of continu...

When We Are Gone

I have experienced the loss of my loved ones. But not an immediate family member (at least not yet). And by losd,I am talking about the passing of someone, deaths. Kematian. Kalau break up tu bukan loss. (Because it is not my loss) Anyway..my maternal grandma whom I fondly called Tok passed away last year and it was heartbreaking, and more frustrating at the time because I could not make it in time to see her one last time before she was buried. Earlier that year in May, I lost my Pak Long who suddenly slipped into a coma for 2 weeks I think..before he passed on. Perasaan bila dua jasad ni dah tiada, biarpun bukan "immediate family" terasa aneh. Kadang-kadang sedih. Still life goes on. And this morning, I was shocked to find out, "the friend of my friend" in my friend's tweet, who is actually my friend too, has lost his pregnant wife and their 6 months old baby in womb..it was a pregnancy death. I uttered "Innalillahiwainnalillahirojiun" but I am...

Men-ca-pub

Apa itu 'men-ca-pub', a term that I suddenly remember from my student years. Mencari publisiti. So, I had this conversation with my long lost high school buddy, Adib. (untuk mengelakkan salah faham antara Adib adik aku dan Adib kawan aku ni, let's call Adib kawan aku ni Adib B, as per my homemate's request) Adib B and I talked a lot lately. Mostly all the mind opening, mind boggling stuffs. Then this one night, I dunno how we end up talking about a friend who is really active on social media. Still. I mean, we both find it is time to slow down or just stop posting personal stuff like pictures on social media. "Aku dah lama doh dok post mende2 kat facebook" aku cuba menjelaskan kepada Adib B dengan aku punya half-baked loghat Terengganu. "Aku pong, stail malah gitu. Tapi ramai lagi member kite hok, guane nok kabo.." "masih lagi mencapub?" sampuk aku ketika Adib B dalam proses memikir untuk melengkapkan ayatnya. "Owohh, gitu sekal...

Sunday Morning and It is Not Raining

Servicing my car. The owner asked me to wait for his staffs cum mechanics to come first. So i waited. At the end, the owner himself doing it. I see only 2 ladies are here working;sweeping the floor, emptying the bins, clearing all the clutters. One lady here seems to be unaffected by the sudden barking of the dog, maybe the owner's. Waiting for my dad's reply to my "semi syn 10/40 castrol mahal x bah?"

Celoteh Lunch Break

Semalam aku nak lelap mata tidur. Tengah dalam awang-awangan timbul rasa nak mencuba kembali benda yang selalu aku buat dulu kala. Aku nak tidur gaya jenazah. Tangannya letak di mana, kaki rapat-rapat. Baring bukan mengiring. Aku baring biasa seperti jenazah dibaringkan atas lantai masjid sebelum solat jenazah. Dah buat semua, tutup mata. Tiba-tiba teringat banyak dosa semasa hayat. Takut, takut. Baru tersedar macam baru lepas kena lempang dengan cikgu dulu (tipu, aku tak pernah kena lempang sama cikgu). Dosa bertimbun, tapi yang paling aku teringat - hutang. Hutang budi, hutang duit, hutang hutang. Kebetulan aku ada terbaca artikel seorang ustaz pasal hutang. Aku pun ada baca pasal pembahagian harta pusaka sebab isu ni memang 'point' terbaik aku bila jumpa client pasal Takaful. Okay, berbalik semula kepada hutang. Ye, hutang. This is called Vision Board. I have one from last year. I need to make a new one because some things have left me. =) credit to Utoria for the pict...

Quoting A Blogger Friend =)

Me: Do you take note of the small things that make you happy? Her: I don't, I take pictures of them =D One of the many things I love the most is the blue sky and thin white clouds up there. I guess growing up in a pretty much kampung (rural) area has got me so used to seeing the blue sky that when I first went to Shah Alam for my pre-U study I got a bit...lost? Thank God in Gippsland the sky was clear too, and I love the night, stargazing. The first time I did that was with my buddies Derek and Semun outside their house. We were like, just staring up to the night sky, looking at the stars, many stars. "I never saw something like this before" said Derek. I guess if you spend most of your life in a concrete jungle it must be hard to notice how pretty the stars are at night. And I'm glad in this place I'm staying right now, I can still see the clear blue sky. I love the blue sky, with few white clouds decorating it hehehehe ps: Anyone wanna go watch The Hango...

Food Trash Talk

Salam~ and peace be to y'all! I used to start my blog with that tagline long time ago, back when I blogged at Friendster's blog. Heh. Happy Saturday people. And tomorrow is Father's Day. To be honest, on Mother's and Father's Days  I only wish my parents, and I don't usually do any extra special thing. I prefer birthdays y'all~ I don't really have any particular reason why I don't go the extra mile for my parents on those days so it's not like I hate Father's and Mother's Days. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Read The Star online some time ago about Malaysians discarding almost 30 tonnes of food everyday and somehow I wasn't that shocked nor did I  *GASP 30 tonnes?* because I've seen it, we all have witnessed this, and some (or perhaps most of us?) do that. I mean, every time I go to Mamak, fastfoods, any restaurants or foodcourts, never have I seen p...

In His Face?

But the maestro felt nothing. According to Yahoo!News he said he didn't feel a thing and only realised that he was punched afterwards. Funny stuff. I wonder what's up with the school kid? Maybe he made a bet with his friends that he could punch Messi? Hahahaha. THen again, you would expect someone who has brilliant response like Messi to be able to dodge the punch. Nanja sora? Credit to The Star Online Read here and here So, I woke up early today. Looking forward to the weekend~just gonna rest at home. And clean up the unwanted stuffs. My housemate freaked out I guess because he asked me not to throw all the old stuffs for fear the previous tenants and my other housemate might look for it again in the future. Hahaha, my brother who has been here since Sunday, did all the clean up and he didn't throw out any junks. Fair enough if the stuffs belong to my other housemate whom I've met twice only. But the previous tenants? Come on man, if it were me, I wouldn...

Lost No More

Last weekend was ermm..a busy one, fulfilling one? To put it simply, I did lots of things. Activity filled weekend. Saturday morning started with Subuh prayer of course, followed by a short nap until 8am before I headed to Kelab Komuniti Taman Tasik Cyberjaya near MMU Cyberjaya for a game of basketball. The last time I played basketball with a bunch of strangers was August last year, before the fasting month. The weather was great (in fact, too great) for an outdoor basketball game. Thanks to my SESMA buddy Raf for inviting me. The last time I went to Cyberjaya to play but it suddenly rained as I reached the Sports Arena, Cyberjaya. So I really, really am thankful that it didn't rain that day. That sure reminds me, I had to rely on Google Map and my memorizing skills to get to MMU. And it was night back then. I really didn't like that feeling of being lost. Not sure if the road I took was right or wrong. Then, before I knew it, I was driving around Putrajaya on my back home...

What Does It Mean To Be Alive?

To some, when they are on the verge of death. When every thing in the past starts to play back, like a movie being fast forwarded from the day they were born. I guess when thing is about to end, one only realizes that he has been a living a life and starts to regret the things that are left undone, or things done that shouldn't have been done. To be alive may as well mean that the feeling of regrets you have. To some, to be alive is to contribute something to mankind. ................................................................................................................................................................. I guess this is some sort of contribution too... Okay, I'm bored, uploading a video clip to YouTube now...still got 35 mins left. I will post it up here when it's on YouTube woot~ No, it's not my Vlog. Well..stay tuned! =P hehehehe

Ever Wonder Why?

Ever wonder why you still don't get what you want? Have you ever tried hard thinking about why, why why?? There could be one of many answers, which might be true to almost all of us. It's because, we don't really know what we want. How do you expect to achieve something, to have something, to be someone, if you don't even know what you want in the first place? Check this out - you're in a restaurant, and you tell a waiter that you want to eat food, he will definitely go "Duh, that's why you are here, no?" But of course he won't probably do that because he doesn't want to offend you, hurt your feeling. =P Then you get angry and upset because you still don't get your food, why? Because you never specifically say, I want to eat this food - bibimbab (for example, because I'm craving for one =P). You keep on saying, I wanna eat food I wanna eat food I wanna eat food like a parrot gitu. You say you wanna be rich. But you never really ...

Depending On Which Angle You Look At It

On Friday, two cleaners came to my workplace of course to clean up the place. I am not so clear on who or which cleaning company sent the cleaners who did the cleaning before but every week the cleaners won't be the same people. One thing for sure, most of them are non Malaysians. I'm pretty much okay with anyone as long as they are not causing any trouble to me. Well, it's not like the cleaners on Friday caused any trouble anyway. It's just that one of the cleaners, she looked very young. I didn't notice that at first until my two colleagues asked me to guess how old the girl might be. I had a look and she looked very very young. Apparently she's just 19. And guess what? She's from Cambodia and had very limited Malay, English vocabularies. My colleagues were like all laughing because they had to resort to sign language to communicate with the girls that it just got ridiculously funny. All jokes aside, I wonder how on earth did she get into Malaysia anyw...
