Tun Mahathir Admitted Because of

Checked my twitter and saw a tweet from The Star Online That sure got me by surprise. Let's just hope the man gets well soon.

My School Is Famous!

Ermm..pretty much for the wrong reason. =P My condolence to the deceased and his family. Anyway, my school has already been famous way before this story. Well, not that it matters, fame and reputation. What I know, the school has taught me a lot of lessons. Hardship, happiness, friendship, hard work...errr what else? =P Oh, and it transformed me, by the end of my 5 years there to a 68kg teenager who was once chubby and fat.  XP hehehehe credit to Berita Hairan, I mean Berita Harian

7 Magnitude Earthquake In Myanmar Near Thai Border?? Woah...

I was just wondering aimlessly on Facebook trying to find something interesting on my news feed when suddenly I saw this - Lukey Now, that certainly caught my eyes! I googled but no relevant hit came, there's only the real time news on twitter. And so it is true that there was an earthquake in the northeastern part of Myanmar. The tremor was so strong that the buildings in Bangkok were shaken by it! The news is out on CNN but I only got to read about the news from here . Then I realised what an idiot I was, could have just checked CNN what! And from what I read, Myanmar was hit by earthquakes twice - the first one at 7 magnitude, followed by a 4.8 magnitude quake. I hope that nothing serious happened like in Japan. Oh, worry not, there won't be any tsunami since the quakes took place inland and not anywhere near the coast or in the open sea.  I hope.. 0____0

Get Yourself Prepared

When I first read my friend's facebook status about how strong the earthquake was just now, I was like huh? Then I remembered something - she's studying in Japan! From her status, it seemed like the tremor was waaaayy beyond words. And that status of her, I read some time ago. .. .. All of a sudden 2 hours ago, my facebook news feed was flooded (sort of) with all the news about the earthquake in Japan. Apparently, tsunami alerts have been sent to all the countries neighbouring Japan. Even Google has taken the initiative to spread the words. Lately, there has been a lot of natural disasters happening around the world. Am I prepared?

API! API!

Woah!! When I reached home, I could see smoke coming out from one of the units on the ground floor. After parking the car, I went to the scene to check it out. Man, from the smell of the smoke, and how it was so dark in the house where the smoke came from, perhaps the fire was caused by a short circuit? Some of the otais tried to put out the fire but it was too dark they couldn't see. Me? Didn't know what to do, I just dialled 999. Few minutes after my call to the Fire Brigade, no more smoke coming out. Errr =_____=" Was it the right thing to do? Oh..I can hear the siren now.. =_______="

Coca Cola Got Alcohol??

By now everyone should have known the secret recipe of Coca Cola. For decades it had been kept a secret but apparently it is out people. I am not sure though if there is alcohol in the coca cola sold in Malaysia...naah, can't be. But who knows eh? The old recipe of Coca Cola. Warisan turun temurun. AHaks! Coca Cola's secret has been hidden and locked down for over 125 years. But not anymore. American Life says they've found the ingredients that make up the drink and they have revealed it!   It all started with John Pemberton, a Civil War veteran who's credited with inventing Coca-Cola. His original recipe was written down in a recipe book of various ointments and medicines that was passed down from generation to generation. A photograph of that recipe, from that very recipe book, was taken in the Feb. 18, 1979, edition of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution and only recently came to light when Ira Glass from This American Life stumbled upon it. Here's the recip...

So What's Been Happening Outside This Blog?

A lot of things. For starter, I got my dad's kancil. Drove it all the way from Kerteh to Balakong Jaya few days before new year. It was a good thing that we all had planned to have a trip to KL with my aunt from Penang. I took turn driving the Kancil with Adib, tailing our family car. I must say it was a nerve wracking experience when I drove in the city area for the first time. Cars, lorries, motorcycles everywhere. Mostly moving at the speed of more than 60km/h even in that kind of traffic jam. Scary. Stayed over at a hotel suite near KLCC for the night and the next morning, as early as 6am, I drove to my place in Balakong Jaya. And yeah, I drove the kancil, following my dad who was driving the other car. I didn't know my way around then, but now, okay-lah. I just follow sign boards and Google Maps. =P Back in Kerteh after watching the first match of the AFF Suzuki Cup Final. Boys will forever be in love with video games! Be it handheld game console, or pc =P Exc...

Woah....What's Going On Here??

I was on facebook just now. Then I saw a friend's status "Is this WW III?" and I was like "huh??" What on earth is he talking about? And not long after that, my man Semun, whom I've mentioned a couple of time in this blog of mine, updated his status "Wish me luck". And I thought it was because he's flying back home. So, I wished him good luck. Just now only I got his reply, and he told me, North Korea just frigging attacked South Korea!! I was like, what??!?!? YOu gotta be kidding me right? I thought all this while they are just trying to intimidate one another with all those nuke talks and what not. So I did check BBC. True enough. According to BBC News , North Korea started the attack first, which prompted South Korea to retaliate back. Man, I wish Semun will be all safe when he gets back. Hope it's not gonna get real ugly.. Godspeed my friend! And let's hope this madness ends in peace..though there is already one casualty....
One example of a degraded, devolved human being.   A woman living at an apartment unit in Taman Segar, Cheras, was shocked when a Peeping Tom recorded her taking a shower in the bathroom. When she sensed she was being watched, the woman, who identified herself only as Nor, screamed and the culprit quickly pulled back his handphone and fled. Sinar Harian reported that Nor, 24, only realised she was being secretly photographed after being in the shower for about five minutes. “I saw a shadow of a hand and a black mobile phone at the top window of the bathroom. “I was stunned but the culprit quickly withdrew the phone and disappeared,” said Nor, who immediately alerted her housemates at her Segar Ria apartment. “We went outside but there was no one along the corridor. “We suspect that it was the work of one of our neighbours,” she said. Nor said she was worried that pictures of her in the shower would find their way to the Internet. The Star Online Seriously, kalau jatuh dar...

Breaking News!

You guys (most Malaysians) surely know this guy, Fazley? Masa muda-muda dulu. Taken from KhairilHusni.blogmas.com I just read this article at Selangor2u.com that his Master's and PhD's degrees are fakes? It was revealed by BBC that is the reason the collaboration between his company FIC and University of Wales. Fazley said he has stopped using the title 'Dr' after suspecting something is wrong with the institution that he got his degress from. Man, whatever that is, I hope things are going to be alright for him. I can just imagine how frustrating, depressing it is to know all your long, hard works are for nothing. I just hope Monash University won't go bad that its credibility will be questioned in the future. Hmmm, more stories on this here . (But that link was old story, 2008.) I only rely on online newspaper nowadays. And blogs too. hehehehe

~Running through the Monsoon~

Kedah and Perlis scramble to send aid to 19,000 hit by floodwaters A FAMILY mourns the death of a 13-year-old; a 64-year-old German woman is reported missing and some 19,000 lives are turned upside down as the floods in Kedah and Perlis cause devastation. With road and rail links cut because of the floods, both states scrambled to send aid to stranded victims. In one instance, six men sought refuge on a tree because of the rising waters. Rescue teams have been sent to the affected areas and steps taken to make sure victims receive all the help they need. Perlis Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Md Isa Sabu described the floods as “really bad” and its damage worse than the big flood of 2005 when the entire state was flooded. Desperate for some kind of transportation, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim, the Tambun Tulang assemblyman, flagged down tractors, backhoes and lorries to ask for help to ferry the victims out of their houses. In Kelantan, another RM50,000 worth of basic necessities will be pr...

Macam-Macam Yang Berlaku

Aishh...rasanya kena lagi tegas penguatkuasaan undang-undang. Biar jalan raya kita ni selamat digunakan. Al-Fatihah

Identified Flying Objects

‘Flying’ screwdriver nearly hits housewife and kids at Penang flats GEORGE TOWN: First, a falling stone kills a man. Now, a “flying” screwdriver narrowly misses a housewife and two children. Just 48 hours after Koay Chin Chai died when he was hit by a palm-sized stone, Sharifah Mydin Kuppiy nearly met the same fate – this time in full view of several councillors and pressmen. The 27-year-old housewife was shocked to see that a screwdriver had cracked her car’s windscreen at the Jalan Sungai flats at about 2.45pm. Sharifah said if they had stood next to the windscreen, she and her brother’s two children could have been the next victims of a “flying” object. “We don’t want to be living in fear everyday,” she said, adding that a flower pot landed next to her while she was carrying a baby on Oct 19. Several pressmen, Penang Muni cipal Council (MPPP) councillors and council officers, who were scheduled to be there for a press conference over the falling stone tragedy, were shocked to witne...

So, Does That Mean They Need To Resit The English Paper? LOL XP

Errors in PMR English paper I WISH to highlight some glaring errors which appeared in English Paper 1 of the recent PMR (Penilaian Menengah Rendah) examination. Candidates had to read through a passage and answer questions 29 to 34. I was both disappointed and surprised as the passage had some serious errors. In the first paragraph, the author wrote: “Being a Penangite, it was indeed fun to go somewhere far as it would be a change from my normal routine…” This is a classic dangling modifier in which the author refers it (the trip) as a Penangite. There were two other flaws in the second paragraph: The first one “Drop me off at a small town” should correctly read as “in a small town” while the other one “I went to enquire at the bus station” should in fact read “I went to enquire about the bus schedule at the bus station”. The writer wrote in the third paragraph: “… I alighted where most buses stopped for passengers to get refreshments and stretch their legs.” Did he or she really mean ...

Morning Is Indeed The Best Time 4....What Should We Do Today??

Assalamualaikum Good morning Bonjour おはようございます I woke up earlier than usual, by 20 minutes at 6.12am just now. Because I slept really early last night, around 10-10.30pm after watching Negeri Sembilan scored the second goal against Johor FC LOL. I don't know about the outcome of another match, but I am hoping to see a rematch of Kelantan vs Negeri Sembilan. Hehehehe Oh...I've been thinking from just now, what should I do today? Should I go out and buy some stuff - iron and...I guess just iron. =P I already took a pic of this room, got no bed. Only my toto. hehehe funny when I looked at all my stuff outside the room yesterday after my family left. It felt like I was back to hostel life again. Got the instant milo, cereals, the pail, bleachers, cleaning solutions, even mops. But it's not because at least in hostel got bed and mattress, and pillow. I bought my own pillow from Giant. And I don't mean this Giant =P Oh! Forgot to mention there are two sets of d...

New Place

Finally got myself a room, which is 2-5 mins walking distance to my workplace! YEAY! Save money on transportation already! hahahha I took less than an hour to clean up the room. Luckily my mom brought along our table fan, and the toto because the room was completely empty. The occupant before me left this month for government's quarters in Putrajaya. I don't know if you guys know what is toto, because the gf didn't know and never heard of it before. I believe she still doesn't know what the heck it is since she has never seen it before. My housemate, is one year younger than me. First impression, seems like a nice guy. Hahaha. We talked a lot that I hope that he doesn't think that I'm a bit kaypoh LOL.Lucky got a place to stay now. Phewww.... I hope my family will reach home safe and sound. It rained just now. I got no car, no motorcycle. So this is just nice. My family will come again some time in November before my graduation on the 13 November. So, it...

I Like It On The Floor

I don't know if you guys notice that lately on Facebook you can see women put up their status I like it on the floor or I like it on the office table or I like it on the bed At first I was like, what? Sounds a bit..mmm...wrong? LOL but I didn't wanna say anything when I first saw a couple of my female friends put those as their status on Facebook. Later they would accuse me of being pervert =___=" But few days later, I saw more and more of that kind of status, then only I thought of Google-ing the status. Google has all the answers!...well, almost all. =P So, turns out those status are meant to tell where the girls like to leave their purse/handbag/wallet. And it is also for the sake of raising breast cancer awareness. And like my fellow Martians, we wonder how on Earth by telling people where you like to leave your purse can achieve such feat? Apparently last year women told what was the colour of the underwear they were wearing as their Facebook status (come to th...

TGV Mesra Mall You!! XP

My mom asked me to pay the bills at post office. Being a good son I am =P I went to the post office and got that sorted out. As I was driving back home, I thought why not have a look at the TGV Mesra Mall. I haven't got the chance since it was opened on Saturday the 25th. I drove straight instead of making a right turn heading to my house. What a lovely weather (Pink Panther 200x) After I parked the car, I slowly took my time walking past the shops, some window shopping as well. It's weekday so not as crowded it would be during weekends hence I could care less being in the mall with just a worn out t-shirt and track bottoms. Here it is folks - TGV Cinemas Mesra Mall Kemasik. When I saw the cinema I was like WHOAH!! This is cool. I felt like I wasn't in Terengganu no offense Terengganu LOL but it's just that Terengganu had long been without a cinema. Last time there was this Rex Cinema but it was closed down. So seeing this TGV being so elegant, and looking high class, I...

iPhone 4

I'm pretty sure many people in Malaysia will get their hands on this new Apple gadget. I love the design, though some people the GF included beg to differ. They prefer the old model's design. But I don't wanna buy something just because it looks good. Good looking doesn't mean good, agree? =P So I asked my man Semun on what he thinks about the new iPhone 4. He said the new phone is really good, mainly because of the video call and the HD video recording. But he suggested that I wait for another year as the new iPhone 4 is not that stable at the moment. He himself can't wait to grab one of those next year. Though he said to wait, but I don't know man. I subscribed to Maxis's iPhone 4 news alert. The plan was okay, I would say but I tell myself to wait for news from Celcom and Digi. And yesterday I found out that Digi will be introducing an iPhone 4 plans as well! Excited. Seems to me only Celcom the one left out, even after many talks with Apple regarding iPh...
