Alkisah Telefon Awam

Pada suatu hari... "Bro, tak elok ke public phone tu?" "Tak kot, tadi ada orang guna, tapi dia terus blah." "Bengang betul. Sekarang ni semua public phone tak boleh pakai!" "Hehehehe..."

We Take Both - Good and Bad

"Ore, ore." Meaning, "Me, me." which means "It's me, it's me." Ore is Japanese for me, in a casual form, not so polite way because you are close to the person you're talking to. The same with Aku in Bahasa. Anyway, not gonna teach language here. Just wanna share about this scam I just got to know happening in Malaysia. Man...Thanks to Azrul Hisham for sharing and letting us all know and aware about it. Another thing to watch out for people. So, here how the scam works. You get a message from a number you don't have in your contact list, claiming to be your relatives - uncle, dad, brother, sister. The sender will then say, in the message, that he/she runs out of prepaid credit and is using his/her friend's handphone. Example taken from Azrul Hisham's blog - Ni p'cik guna kad orng, tolng isikan p'cik top up RM30 di number baru p'cik ni nom dia 0128105169,pasal p'cik ade kes di balai polis boleh tak cepat sikit b

Jeng jeng jeng jengggg!!!!

Tadaaa~ Hehehehehe...it's all good, still like brand new! Okay, I lie, not like brand new PSP since got scratches all over it already. This thing has been by my side since March 2008, my close friend hahaha. Thanks to Semun who jailbreak my PSP. But I did buy original game - Final Fantasy Crisis Core.....ah, only that I guess.. =P Kalau dah main game, I don't think I will feel like eating. Penjimatan wang di situ! hehehehe

Excited

Many things can get me excited - seeing my family after a long time, my mom's cooking especially ikan goreng bolado, hanging out with my friends, imoto, meeting the gf (which i plan to do soooon lol) and many more. But now, im excited to wait for my psp which is now being repaired at Kompleks Pertama. You know that building next to Sogo. In 1 hour baby! Now having lunch, later see how's the plan gonna be after i get my psp. Oh, have a great and awesome Saturday guys! ;) Hehehehe ----

New Species...

Me and my colleagues were briefed by the boss when she shrieked upon seeing something on the floor. My colleague J had a look, and picked the thing up, and put it on his note book. And I gotta say, I've never seen anything like this.  What could it be... That's how it moved. Its front part will stick to the ground, pulling the whole body forward. Just like how bacteria move. Some bacteria. Anyone knows what on God's lovely earth is that insect? I assume it's an insect because there were only 6 legs/3 pairs of legs. hehehehe

Menarik Diri Dari 100penulis

That's what I have been thinking. 100penulis has been very good to me, but I don't think I have been very fair to the owner, the other editors and the blog reader. I haven't been consistently blogging at 100penulis and that's what making me thinking, considering to quit. Tough choice.

Saya Nak Berganda-Ganda Halim!

I didn't know I got tagged by Che Yah until McWan told me about it at my shoutbox. And McWan still wants to tag me the same tag Che Yah tagged me. Oh..a bit confusing. Simply said (not Simply Siti =P) I got the same tag from Che Yah first, and then McWan. So here goes~ alang-alang takde idea + malas nak blog. Keletihanlah kononnya.. Am I beautiful? According to James Blunt, YES I AM! Thanks the person who gave you this award & link them Thanks from the bottom of my feet ( icecube1 2010 ) to Che Yah and McWan for giving me this award. If I receive same award from two people, does this mean I am a beautiful blogger? Heheheh XP Spread the award to other awesome bloggers I would love to tag Uncle Lee as well, but I doubt he is into this kind of thing. LOL  Anyways, here goes~ 1. Cikgu Zul 2. Azza Zahra 3. Alina Clover 4. K.Beyazid 5. Azwan Percubaan Pertama 7 things about yourself? - A science graduate? - From Terengganu kite~ - Primary school in Kerte

Farewell~

Yesterday, there was a farewell party sort of for a colleague, or should I say ex colleague since she will no longer be working at Ligno. She was here for 6 months and now will embark on a different direction in her career. Because I don't have my memory stick, I couldn't really take much photos. That sucks. To that colleague of mine, I mean, ex colleague, I wish you all the best. Though I only got to talk to her 2-3 weeks ago (because I'm shy..heheheh XP) it was great to know her. All the best! =) No wonder Dr. Tan and my lady boss have been busy this week. Because of the MAHA exhibition starting today until this Sunday. MAHA stands for Ministry of Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism. Hmm, at least I know what to do today. It's all good. hehehehe

Ever Wonder Why?

Ever wonder why you still don't get what you want? Have you ever tried hard thinking about why, why why?? There could be one of many answers, which might be true to almost all of us. It's because, we don't really know what we want. How do you expect to achieve something, to have something, to be someone, if you don't even know what you want in the first place? Check this out - you're in a restaurant, and you tell a waiter that you want to eat food, he will definitely go "Duh, that's why you are here, no?" But of course he won't probably do that because he doesn't want to offend you, hurt your feeling. =P Then you get angry and upset because you still don't get your food, why? Because you never specifically say, I want to eat this food - bibimbab (for example, because I'm craving for one =P). You keep on saying, I wanna eat food I wanna eat food I wanna eat food like a parrot gitu. You say you wanna be rich. But you never really

Craving Is A Privilege Everyone Can Afford To Have =P

Ever since I got back from Australia, I haven't really got the chance to cook like last time in Gippsland. Yeah, I know the food is extra good here, halal places everywhere, and way cheaper than the foods in Australia, so wouldn't it be troublesome for me to cook my own meal when I can just get the food anywhere here in Malaysia, correct? Wrong~ hahaha, if I cook my own meal I won't gain weight that easily, and it would be much cheaper too. Of all the many things I used in my cooking, I miss button mushrooms the most. Aka cendawan butang. Credit to Besut Agro Enterprise Perhaps I didn't use my eyes correctly all the time I went to Giant, Tesco looking for the mushrooms, but I haven't come across any of that. Of course got the canned ones, but I don't want that. Hahaha, choosy. What to do, all those time I was in Gippsland I got used to buying the button mushrooms fresh (well, at least most of the mushrooms were not in cans). I'd love to have those mu

Accidentally?

Mind boggling. Why did a military troop use Google Maps to carry out their military exercise??? Seriously... =___= Seriously?

So Much For First Come First Serve

I remembered the time I did my enrollment for the coming semester's subjects. It was pretty much easy, I know what I should take to ensure that I completed my degree in time (it's a different thing if you keep failing your core subjects =P). I only met the course advisor once, and from then on I knew which subjects are the core ones, and electives. And I don't really remember having any difficulty registering the subjects I want to take. I wasn't really worried about not being able to take any subject I want because too many students already, since my campus is not as big as the main campus, Clayton. I remember there were only 12 first year biotech students then. Then in second year, few of my friends changed their majors mostly because they didn't want to do the killer subject - Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, affectionately =P known as MBB, which is a core unit for third year, final year student. The prerequisite subject for MBB is another low level molecul

No Wonder...

I think I know one of the many possible reasons why I didn't feel like blogging recently. Because I left my phone memory stick at home in Kerteh! Hahahaha! I meant to blog about my lil bro's prize giving ceremony only to find out that my memory stick is not in my phone! I must have left it in my room..Dang dang dang~ It is more convenient to snap pictures using my phone than using a compact digicam. I still can't get over the thought of people looking at me when I'm about to take pictures. So, using my handphone can at least reduce my embarassment hahaha. But really, now my blog is lacking new pictures. All are used ones or from the internet. Not to say that I can't take pictures at all using my phone, I can but with limited storage. Only got 60MB free space. This phone only has 100MB storage I guess? Much better than my previous phone's - Motorola L6 which only had 10MB, and what worse, no slot for memory stick. So last time I had to edit few audio files

World Number One Is Still A Human

So I was watching the news on different channels. Yeah, I'd love to do that I just discovered that. Anyway, Buletin Utama's sports cast showed from the feedbacks they received on TV3's fb page, more than 90% are still rooting, supporting, and behind Datuk Lee Chong Wei. Then my housemate said he read a blog about Lee Chong Wei crying in the changing room after the match. That explained why he didn't meet the press last night. So, I thought of looking for the site, blog on that. Is it true? He cried before when he lost the World Game in KL. He was eliminated by Sony..I think?  =P 23/11/2010 Chong Wei menangis?

Woah....What's Going On Here??

I was on facebook just now. Then I saw a friend's status "Is this WW III?" and I was like "huh??" What on earth is he talking about? And not long after that, my man Semun, whom I've mentioned a couple of time in this blog of mine, updated his status "Wish me luck". And I thought it was because he's flying back home. So, I wished him good luck. Just now only I got his reply, and he told me, North Korea just frigging attacked South Korea!! I was like, what??!?!? YOu gotta be kidding me right? I thought all this while they are just trying to intimidate one another with all those nuke talks and what not. So I did check BBC. True enough. According to BBC News , North Korea started the attack first, which prompted South Korea to retaliate back. Man, I wish Semun will be all safe when he gets back. Hope it's not gonna get real ugly.. Godspeed my friend! And let's hope this madness ends in peace..though there is already one casualty.

Music Video of The Week - Kedua (Drive)

~kujadikan kau yang kedua~ ~tak bererti tak cinta~ ~aku dan dia, hanya sementara~ "What the?" was the first thing that came to my mind when I first listened to the song. I was introduced to the song by my housemate who is from Indonesia - Dicky. The song sounds good alright, catchy, and the MV is decently funny in a way, to me at least. But, the lyric of the song, man, girls won't like it I reckon. Unless those girls are okay being the second girlfriend to they guy. Sounds to me like the guy is having an affair with this 'gadis kedua' and trying to sweet talk the second girl to be patient, that he and the first girl are just 'sementara'. WTH? Then again if you look at it from another angle, it sounds like what the singer is trying to say is, how naive a girl can be, and how greedy a guy can be too that he still wants to keep the girl by his side. Lyric Sudah kukatakan Aku ingin Tak sendiri Telah kuungkapkan Rahasia Diriku Chorus: Kujadikan kau y

The 'A' Thing

I wonder if this laptop is dying. Well, it is indeed, without a doubt an ancient laptop from the time when one laptop could cost you the same price of a motorcycle. Or a mountain bike used in tournament. Now, the 'A' button is not working well. I have to press it really hard whenever I need to type any word with an 'A' in it. It's a good thing English doesn't have that many words with too many 'A's in it. (Well, not really, Danial) Tempted I was yesterday to go Low Yat and get myself a new laptop, but I told myself, don't buy something you want, buy something you need = food. LOL It's true, sometimes the things that we want would end up unused, become extras in our household. Reminds me of a quote from Will Smith, We often buy things we don't want, with money we don't have, to impress people we don't like This usually applies to housewives LOL and some working guys who grabbed a sporty expensive luxury cars right after they got

Everybody's Changing

Ah, don't worry, I'm not gonna post up the official MV of the song here. I already did that . Though I was considering of sharing it here just now but naah. Too much of Keane's songs is not good hahaha. True enough everybody's changing. Your best, old friend from primary school, secondary school, they all will change over time. Especially if you haven't met them for long time. Former lovers or in my case, former crushes hahaha, most of them change, appearance wise, not much but the maturity, yeah most likely. Or if you're married, your partner might have changed a lil' bit. If last time before you got married to your partner, you both were all fun, open to new things, but once you guys tied the knots, things start to get dull, bored. Or just the same. No excitement. No more mushy, lovey dovey talks, smses, fb comments on walls that drove other people off the wall because of the cheesiness. Heh. Perhaps, your siblings have changed too. Especially if you r

Lee Chong Wei Lost To Super Dan

Yeah, a bit disappointed but at least it was not as bad as their last meeting in final Olympic game in Beijing 2008. The match then was totally one sided. This one just now, was okay. The Chinese stays undefeated, and untouched in his home soil. Damn, damn damn... Anyway, Datuk (or is it Dato'?) Lee Chong Wei, it's all good. Thanks for trying very hard to get that gold medal and win against Lin Dan. I must say it was a good tactic trying to change the shuttles, delaying the game just to get on Lin Dan's nerves. Though at the end we all can only be happy with another silver medal from the badminton event. Congratulations nevertheless for the silver medal Lee Chong Wei! =) hehehehe

You Know You Will Get Bored

of the same food when you feel nauseous just by the smell of it. I've been making fried noodle ever since I found the portable gas stove and the ancient induction stove in this flat. And I made it for lunch just now. Too lazy to go out and tapau. And after my lunch, I have been feeling nauseous. Feeling a bit jelak @___@ Maybe I should get something warm and not oily for dinner? Or just a cup of hot milo, with lotsa biscuits? Or ice cream? Oh, I know! Pau Kaya!!! XD hehehehe *UPDATED* Nak tengok gambar makanan yang berminyak pon nak termuntah.. =___= this is bad...

Time To Change?

Ooo? What could it be? A high school senior of mine who is the owner of Selangor2u dropped me a message on my fb wall. I wonder what kind of change he meant? Change the colour? Or the blog title? Or change the whole thing?? What do you guys think? I know some readers of this blog mention they always laugh whenever they see the blog's header LOL which I think is befitting the blog's title - hehehehe =P Hmmm...is it time to change the blogskin? Or to do a complete renovation?? hehehehe

Depending On Which Angle You Look At It

On Friday, two cleaners came to my workplace of course to clean up the place. I am not so clear on who or which cleaning company sent the cleaners who did the cleaning before but every week the cleaners won't be the same people. One thing for sure, most of them are non Malaysians. I'm pretty much okay with anyone as long as they are not causing any trouble to me. Well, it's not like the cleaners on Friday caused any trouble anyway. It's just that one of the cleaners, she looked very young. I didn't notice that at first until my two colleagues asked me to guess how old the girl might be. I had a look and she looked very very young. Apparently she's just 19. And guess what? She's from Cambodia and had very limited Malay, English vocabularies. My colleagues were like all laughing because they had to resort to sign language to communicate with the girls that it just got ridiculously funny. All jokes aside, I wonder how on earth did she get into Malaysia anyw

Go Malaysia Go!!

If you guys don't know yet, Asian Game is halfway done already. As expected the host China leads the pack of other Asian countries, with more than 100 gold medals already. Siao. But what can I say, they got a very large population there should be one or two sports freaks, geniuses in that country. Anyway, Malaysia has only collected 3 gold medals and 6 silver medals. Not sure about the bronze. Hoping Datuk Nicol Ann David, Azlan Iskandar will get the gold medals in squash game events, and Dato' Lee Chong Wei too will be able to avenge the humiliation handed to him by Lin Dan two years ago in Beijing Olympic 2008. Was a bit frustrated watching the Malaysian sepak takraw lost to the Thais, at least they did try their best, just that Thailand seem to be at a completely another different level. Surprisingly Tan Boon Heong-Koo Kien Keat lost to the Indonesian no.3 pair. Man..they already won the first game, and almost wrapped up the match in the second game too bad the lady luck

I Forgot~

There are many things that I've been meaning to do and get them done, but I always forget. Need a remind already. First - playing Mafia Wars. Hahaha, yeah trivial it seems, but I haven't played it that often, and only yesterday or maybe few days ago I got to play the game. I accepted a friend's mission request but had to leave it halfway as I didn't have enough stamina. More like, "I totally forgot" actually! Hahaha =P My bad Lukey ! Worry not I already finished the mission ; ) Second - I took part in a lucky draw organised by blogger Kak heze suze . I forgot to do one more thing to entitle myself a chance to win; to put up the draw's banner at the sidebar. =___= Lucky I went over to Kak Ja's blog and saw the banner, reminding me of the lucky draw. I'm sure there are other things that have slipped out of my mind. Now, I need to remember them all back.... hehehehe

Music Video of The Week - Shed A Tear (Rocketeer's Parody)

~Hear it girl~ ~Can't you see~ ~That we're tough guys and we have feeling~ ~Take my hand, close your eyes~ ~With you right here, Imma shed a tear and..~ CRYYYYYYYYY!!!!! Rocketeer by the Far East Movement LOL the song is as catchy as the original song "Rocketeer" by Far East Movement , but it's funny. That's the plus. My YouTube homepage I don't know why lately I love watching all these stuffs on YouTube. Oh, I'm pretty sure most of you guys know about these two Mat Sallehs LOL - Ben Bradshaw aka Baca aka Gigi Putih, and also Paku dan Belacan, on YouTube. I enjoy watching their videos too. Well, got YouTubers that I subscribe to, Baba Ali, to name one of the many. =P Have a good weekend guys! ps: Go Malaysia!! hehehehe

Not That Reliable After All.... =___="

I posted up on fb about Jumba team being eliminated from The Amazing Race and also knowing who is the winner of The Amazing Race Asia. I got to know about it from a friend's blog, and also forum. Turned out all the talks in the forum are all just gibberish, rubbish, and so untrue man! Hahaha, they said Ethan-Khairie won the race but they got eliminated already this week (thanks to the gf for telling me that ;) ) and I was like what?? Now I feel a bit embarrassed for saying something like that on fb. Kak Ja , now we're back on square one - I don't know who's the winner of TARA. And now I don't feel like watching TAR because the Jumba team is not there anymore. =P hehehehe

25 Things About Me

Well, I had done something like this last time , got tagged by Kak Ja , but I was only asked to list 23 random things, about me. Blogger's Block

Source: icanhazcheeseburger I got a lot of interesting things to blog about, just that once I get home, I would relax, rest myself. At night I chat with the gf, before that I would be watching tv, reading some interesting stuffs. I wonder why can't I just spend full 15 minutes to blog? Aisshhhh~ And today is my 5th time, or maybe 6th time I missed my turn to blog at 100penulis.. I feel bad really.. =___="

Got Two Myvis and A Polo In The Lab

I was moving one big lab equipment over from one side of the lab to the other side and when I put it on the bench, my colleagues asked me, if I know the price of that equipment. I know it must be expensive, just that I didn't know how expensive is that expensive. Get me? "It's the same price as Myvi you know." I was freaking out and was relieved that they told me about it after I was done moving that big machine. Man, I would be so nervous and too careful not to drop it had I known about that fact, that I might end up dropping it! 0____0" That was one Myvi. There are two new microscopes now in the lab, and they cost almost the same as Myvi, or maybe half of a Myvi. Crazy. In this lab I'm working in, there are Polos, Myvis, and even a big house. Scary workplace. Need to get  used to working life. Last time in uni, the worst thing one might have broken is the glassware only. LOL but now, break that machine, you're dead. Break that glass jar, one month s

Lama Menyepi

Lama ke?  =P Well, it sure feels like ages ago since my last post. Which was only yesterday morning. I don't know why lately I don't feel like blogging. Must be the lack of free time to blog I have since I started working. Anyway, am back, and now trying hard to get the blogging mood back~ wooo~ Oh, and still, Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha. XD At Achik's house in Sungai Buloh. And I don't mean Achik Ezam the blogger , but my uncle. LOL hehehehe

1st Lucky Draw By Heze Suze

Cikgu Zul tagged me to join this Lucky Draw organized by a blogging mom, Kak Heze Suze. Sorry Cikgu Zul for only doing it now! I definitely, seriously need a better planning to spend some time blogging and blogwalking. Anyway, here goes! Let's join You know what's the prize for this lucky draw? RM50! Like Cikgu Zul said, Encik Nuffnang pon tak begitu murah hati. Hahah XP I wasn't sure who I should tag, but I guess I should just tag those who are not in uni and not having exams too. Kak Ja (ni wajib =P) Che Yah (start working already ah?) Ayie (I'm a silent reader wahaha) McWan Okay, may the best (or should I say lucky?) man win! hehehehe
Raya Aidiladha will be celebrated in Malaysia on Wednesday. Though in Mekah, it will be tomorrow, since wukuf starts tomorrow. Anyway, this year, will mark my 4th year not celebrating Raya Aidiladha at home. Eh, silap, it will my third year because in my first year 2007 I did celebrate it at home. Only 2008, 2009 in Australia. But last year's Raya Haji I got to celebrate with my family as they came during the summer break. Was pretty awesome having the whole family to celebrate it even though not as happening as Raya Aidilfitri and raya back home. Keluarga Gippsland. My dad was sleeping at the time this pic was taken =P Taken by Abang Zainal's camera. Nice one man~ =D Leaving for Solat Sunat Aidiladha. After solat. Hafiz made some new friends when he was in Australia. =P This year, will be celebrating with my family here. Where? Ada laa.. naisho (rahsia)  =P. Hahaha, me and the family will be performing the solat sunat in Subang since my dad has been attendi

Video Game FTW

Tiru Dash Yonkuro FTW! =P Why am I blogging about video games now? Because I wanna play one. Haven't got the chance to do that in years! Ok, maybe not. The last time I played a video game was on my PSP which is not working anymore since I got the PSP screen smashed . Not really smashed into pieces, more like cracked on the inside. And, no it's not a secret anymore. Apparently my parents knew about it =___=" There's nothing that they don't know about their children. LOL I make it sounds as if we siblings are under 24/7 surveillance. Which is true Now that I've got myself a job, I already have plans on what I should do with my pay. First thing first - fix my PSP! I even got my PSP here with me, just in case I feel like getting it fixed either by myself or at Low Yat. But not that sure about Low Yat, they might just rip me off. Should have got it done when I was still in Gippsland, because Semun offered to get the screen replaced once I bought the LCD screen f

After 11 Months

So, it was my convocation yesterday. My parents were not that happy the fact that it was held quite late in the evening, 6.00pm. Well, what can we do, Monash is a tad different. Imma cut the entry this time short and just posted up pictures. Hehehe. *YOU LAZY BUM DANIAL!*  And the next day (today) is his Hari Anugerah Cemerlang. Not convocation yet bro, still long way to go. Choosing which photo package to take. The Graduation Program Didn't know there were many biotech students in Sunway Campus. Apparently only me and this one girl from Clayton were the non-Sunway students =P Kinda like the silver theme. Woo~ VVIP, right on time man. And such short speech from them too which left my parents impressed with how smooth the whole event progressed. So, here is the cert? Waiting for my turn to take the photos. Man, I need to lose some more weight. Need to have that 'drug addict' face back! With my dad and mom. Still got more pictures from t
