What do you do when you fall sick? Obviously you go see the doctor! But growing up I think it's a common sight - sick people don't go to see the doctor, they only see the doctors when they are not getting better after few days.

I rarely get sick. Since I was a small, and for that I thank God. Well, at least that's what I remember - I don't fall sick that often. And usually on the same day I would get better. I'm not a fan of panadol too. Some people I know they like to pop that thing in their body system whenever they get headache, fever. What I usually do, I drink a lot of water, wear myself thick jackets to get my body sweating and that's it, God willing I feel better the next time I wake up from my rest.

But this time around, it's Ramadhan so drinking a lot of water can't really be done in the day. I did however drink a lot during Sahur to compensate the zero water intake in the day. I don't know perhaps I should take a break from tonite's terawih. Wouldn't want other people to get sick as well. But come to think of it, it didn't sound like I was the only who is with runny nose last night in the masjid. I guess I shouldn't really go to masjid tonight.

Even though I don't feel good, still can surf the net. Came across this -

The Flu: Caring for Someone Sick at Home

Learn what you can do to help your family this flu season.

5 steps to take if you get the flu

  1. Stay at home and rest.
  2. Avoid close contact with well people in your house so you won’t make them sick.
  3. Drink plenty of water and other clear liquids to prevent fluid loss (dehydration).
  4. Treat fever and cough with medicines you can buy at the store.
  5. If you get very sick or are pregnant or have a medical condition that puts you at higher risk of flu complications (like asthma…), call your doctor. You might need antiviral medicine to treat flu.

I like the idea of making a sick room in the house. Reminds me very much of my high school's sick bay. Where most of the time students used the sakit kepala or sakit perut excuses to skip some classes. =P

So, what now? I guess I'm off...to...do some vacuuming..

hehehehe

Kembali

Sepanjang tahun 2018 langsung takde satu post. Wow! That's a new record set by yours truly. Banyak benda boleh berlaku dalam masa satu tahun. Dan banyak benda juga yang dah berlaku dalam jangka masa tu. Summary nye, perubahan kerjaya , tahun melawat Indonesia , dan new bundle of joy  (<----Ini emoji smiley, aku buat post ni pakai Blogger app) Kenapa kali ni tergerak nak blog balik? Sebenarnya, dari tahun 2017 tu aku nak meneruskan kelangsungan hidup blog ni..cuma, banyak alasan aku bagi dan jadilah apa yang dah terjadi sekarang blog yang dah lebih setahun tak di-update. Bersawang, dah jadi sarang angkut-angkut dah. Inilah sarang angkut-angkut. Blog kali ni more to syok sendiri mungkin, sebab aku rasa aku dah takde pembaca yang mengikuti perkembangan blog ni. Silap-silap, blog aku dah kena removed daripada list pembaca-pembaca lama aku. Mungkin kalau takde pressure untuk blog, aku akan lebih rajin ke sini. Siapa tahu?

Reconnect: My Journey Back to Blogging

Hello, fellow travel enthusiasts and friends of Malaysian adventures! It's been an incredible journey, one that saw me take an unexpected hiatus from blogging for more than three years. Life happened (more like COVID happened) —responsibilities, changes, and personal growth—but one thing remained constant: my love for exploring the beauty and diversity of Malaysia. With power to put Dillan on my back, comes great responsibility! Today, I'm excited to announce my return to the world of  blogging. It's a bit like revisiting an old friend and reminiscing about unforgettable experiences. As I dust off my keyboard and sift through the memories of past travels, I can't wait to reconnect with all of you and share new adventures. Reflecting on the Past During my hiatus, I took the time to recharge, reflect, and embark on new journeys, both physically and emotionally. I've explored different aspects of life, including my passion for raising awareness about autism, delved de...

Hang Tuah The Animation?

Woah, woah! Read this at beautifulnara about a three way agreements signed by Japanese anime studio Gonzo (Blood: The Last Vampire), Malaysian animation studio Funcel and Malaysia's National Film Development Corporation to produce Hang Tuah the animation! The protagonists....maybe? The antagonists...look so.. It sounds cool to me at first but I am being a bit skeptic about having non Malaysians to make an anime out of this legendary warriors, Hang Tuah and his friends. What more, I wonder are the voice actors gonna be Japanese too? I remember watching Silat Lagenda. That was awesome for our technology that time. But I think I shouldn't be all negative about Gonzo studio animating Hang Tuah because it's a collaboration....I think? Well, you guys can read more here and here . hehehehe
