My First Massive Dinner

Well, not that massive. Just for 3 people. Meant to cook for 5, but the other 2 couldn't make it.

Guess what? It's nasi lemak. =)

My first attempt with ayam goreng berempah. All this time always ayam goreng kunyit.

Made sambal udang instead of sambal ikan bilis for the nasi lemak. Couldn't find it in Woolworths, the supermarket here.

I had a great time, got to eat with my imoto and my new housemate, Lester as he is the only one with no plan for weekend. The others already gone home. Oh yeah, when I was cooking, Abah called. He asked what I was doing at that time so I told him about my plan. I guess he must be impressed with my survival skill (I'm not gonna call it culinary skill =P), The girlfriend asked some of it hahaha...which reminds me, she said she likes my chicken rice hahaha =P.

I think the next time I should try cooking at home. I've been meaning to but since I don't really know where are the ingredients and stuff back home, it would make me look bad as if I don't know what to do and where to start =P

Next time, hopefully. =)

hehehehe

We start with... Penang!!! 5 hours after I reached Penang, I was busy helping my dad cleaning up the lawn. hehehehe..good boy! =P Later, me and my parents had nasi kandaq! Quite a heavy meal for breakfast, I know but thats pretty common in Penang, regardless of your colour skin. If you are a Penangite, you cant care less if its heavy or not. What you know is the food is gonna last you until lunch hour for another round of nasi kandaq or maybe some other meals.. The boys, back then it was still school holidays..thats why they only wake up aroun 9 -11 am... lazybums.. In JB..well..nothing much in JB I think..prefer Penang..hehehe no offence JB folks! =P Where is this again..Angsana Mall? UO? I don't remember.. In Singapore..was quite okay actually, only that, because we had Apish crying for us to carry him instead of him walking..it was a pretty tiring day... Arab St. I think... I think this bar/cafe/restaurant looks cool The masjid there The Family We just went where out feet taking...

Reconnect: My Journey Back to Blogging

Hello, fellow travel enthusiasts and friends of Malaysian adventures! It's been an incredible journey, one that saw me take an unexpected hiatus from blogging for more than three years. Life happened (more like COVID happened) —responsibilities, changes, and personal growth—but one thing remained constant: my love for exploring the beauty and diversity of Malaysia. With power to put Dillan on my back, comes great responsibility! Today, I'm excited to announce my return to the world of  blogging. It's a bit like revisiting an old friend and reminiscing about unforgettable experiences. As I dust off my keyboard and sift through the memories of past travels, I can't wait to reconnect with all of you and share new adventures. Reflecting on the Past During my hiatus, I took the time to recharge, reflect, and embark on new journeys, both physically and emotionally. I've explored different aspects of life, including my passion for raising awareness about autism, delved de...

Koleksi Baju Raya =P

Few days ago, went to Kemaman to get new baju melayu for Hari Raya. hahaha..when it comes to this, I will just accept any baju as long as wearing it doesn't make me the centre of attention on that day. So, what do I have in my collection so far? =P Macam pengantin gitu. =P I don't remember this one. Hmmm My first Raya Aidilfitri away from home, 2007. In Melbourne with my friends from Melbourne Uni. How are you guys? Last year's culture night. Hehehehe. Ore to ore no imoto, Pam. But this purple baju melayu is not mine. My man Azman lent it to me. Thanks heaps man. =) But I guess I kinda like the pengantin one, though it did make me a bit 'famous' due to its glittering when exposed to light. I guess, I was once an Edward Cullen wahahahah! Ok, that's not funny. My bad. *ehem* ehem* The only complete family picture. With my Silat Cekak Hanafi gang at the end of 2006. What's up guys? =) So, this time around went to Kemaman, to this one shop at the basement level ...
