Parenting Done Right

I gotta say, I am not embarrassed to admit that I had tears streaming down my cheeks as I watched this video.

Parenting done right.

Apparently it was Children's Day so that explains the presents. I thought if it was a birthday celebration, surely there would be food. Anyway, that is not the point. The point is, this boy, after opening up the first present and reading the card, could still be brimming with happiness and joy even though he just received a wooden chopping board, instead of an iPad or a tablet. The shape of the board does look like it could be an iPad or tablet. But this lovely child appreciates it as it is a gift from his parents.

Then comes the second present, I was already choking with tears, seeing the boy glowing with happiness after seeing that box in the shoebox...and burst into tears, feeling grateful for the unexpected, pleasant surprise...pleasant seems to be an understatement, I reckon welcoming is more like it.

TT____TT

Meanwhile a boy his age, somewhere in the big, developed cities is throwing a tantrum for having only a Samsung Galaxy S5 instead of a new iPhone 6..

To be fair, the parents have promised him last year that they will get him an iPhone 6.

On another note, it is my 27th birthday today.

Another year, hopefully wiser.
If I am not getting any wiser, do forgive me for I try. Believe me, I do.

Kembali

Sepanjang tahun 2018 langsung takde satu post. Wow! That's a new record set by yours truly. Banyak benda boleh berlaku dalam masa satu tahun. Dan banyak benda juga yang dah berlaku dalam jangka masa tu. Summary nye, perubahan kerjaya , tahun melawat Indonesia , dan new bundle of joy  (<----Ini emoji smiley, aku buat post ni pakai Blogger app) Kenapa kali ni tergerak nak blog balik? Sebenarnya, dari tahun 2017 tu aku nak meneruskan kelangsungan hidup blog ni..cuma, banyak alasan aku bagi dan jadilah apa yang dah terjadi sekarang blog yang dah lebih setahun tak di-update. Bersawang, dah jadi sarang angkut-angkut dah. Inilah sarang angkut-angkut. Blog kali ni more to syok sendiri mungkin, sebab aku rasa aku dah takde pembaca yang mengikuti perkembangan blog ni. Silap-silap, blog aku dah kena removed daripada list pembaca-pembaca lama aku. Mungkin kalau takde pressure untuk blog, aku akan lebih rajin ke sini. Siapa tahu?

Reconnect: My Journey Back to Blogging

Hello, fellow travel enthusiasts and friends of Malaysian adventures! It's been an incredible journey, one that saw me take an unexpected hiatus from blogging for more than three years. Life happened (more like COVID happened) —responsibilities, changes, and personal growth—but one thing remained constant: my love for exploring the beauty and diversity of Malaysia. With power to put Dillan on my back, comes great responsibility! Today, I'm excited to announce my return to the world of  blogging. It's a bit like revisiting an old friend and reminiscing about unforgettable experiences. As I dust off my keyboard and sift through the memories of past travels, I can't wait to reconnect with all of you and share new adventures. Reflecting on the Past During my hiatus, I took the time to recharge, reflect, and embark on new journeys, both physically and emotionally. I've explored different aspects of life, including my passion for raising awareness about autism, delved de...

Hang Tuah The Animation?

Woah, woah! Read this at beautifulnara about a three way agreements signed by Japanese anime studio Gonzo (Blood: The Last Vampire), Malaysian animation studio Funcel and Malaysia's National Film Development Corporation to produce Hang Tuah the animation! The protagonists....maybe? The antagonists...look so.. It sounds cool to me at first but I am being a bit skeptic about having non Malaysians to make an anime out of this legendary warriors, Hang Tuah and his friends. What more, I wonder are the voice actors gonna be Japanese too? I remember watching Silat Lagenda. That was awesome for our technology that time. But I think I shouldn't be all negative about Gonzo studio animating Hang Tuah because it's a collaboration....I think? Well, you guys can read more here and here . hehehehe
