80s and 90s The Best Time To Live In?

So, here I am still in my baju tidoq or as the mat sallehs call it PJ, listening to the best of Air Supply. Don't know what's gotten into me, suddenly feeling all 80s, 90s. By the way while I'm at it, that "what's" is not short form for "what is" but "what has". It can have two short forms, and I am telling you this because some of my friends didn't know about the "what has" you know. So, there you have it.

Anyway, I must be feeling like this after watching Adam Sandler's "That's My Boy". They got Andy Samberg from The Lonely Island in that movie. Really funny, with all those slapsticks, as expected of Mr.Sandler here. Highly recommended especially if you are his fan. But not for family.

That's My Boy. I don't know how watching this makes me feeling all 80s. Pelik.

Where I was, yeah, 80s and 90s. I don't know when but somehow I always have this longing to live in those time. You see I was born in the late 80s, 1987 so I really don't have any recollection from those time. I got to know some of the songs growing up I guess when my mom would sometimes sing a long the chorus of the famous songs when it came up on TV commercial. "The Best Love Songs", "The Best of Scorpions", "The Best of Air Supply" or Abba, Bee Gees though I am fully aware now that Abba and Bee Gees came out way before that.
Dalam banyak-banyak artis 80s, mungkin yang ni paling banyak mendominasi zaman kanak-kanak aku.

Michael Bolton's How Am I Supposed To Live Without You (panjang nak mampus) the best aa, especially after break up wakakakaa!

Siapa kenal angkat tangan!

I guess because I was a kid back then, I was little, pure, just like a white canvas (LOL) so listening to those kind of music has in a way molded me this way - in love of the songs back then. But I know not all songs are songs to my ears. Then again, if you ask me to choose either to listen to the latest, trendy songs from today or to the 80s, 90s,heck even 60s,70s songs, I would choose the latter. Usually I tune in to Era.fm's JoHaRa Pagi Era every morning but any other time it's always Litefm. I mean no offense Era, you guys keep playing the same songs over and over again that I can even sing the songs that I don't like. That's not cool bro! You don't make a brother listen to songs he don't like till he can memorise every single word! Period.

Though I gotta admit the latest song such as Miley's Wrecking Ball is really good you know. Too bad I watched the MV before I get to feel the song. The MV really, not something I should have seen in the first place...

Enjoy, the best of Air Supply. LOL

Reconnect: My Journey Back to Blogging

Hello, fellow travel enthusiasts and friends of Malaysian adventures! It's been an incredible journey, one that saw me take an unexpected hiatus from blogging for more than three years. Life happened (more like COVID happened) —responsibilities, changes, and personal growth—but one thing remained constant: my love for exploring the beauty and diversity of Malaysia. With power to put Dillan on my back, comes great responsibility! Today, I'm excited to announce my return to the world of  blogging. It's a bit like revisiting an old friend and reminiscing about unforgettable experiences. As I dust off my keyboard and sift through the memories of past travels, I can't wait to reconnect with all of you and share new adventures. Reflecting on the Past During my hiatus, I took the time to recharge, reflect, and embark on new journeys, both physically and emotionally. I've explored different aspects of life, including my passion for raising awareness about autism, delved de

Hang Tuah The Animation?

Woah, woah! Read this at beautifulnara about a three way agreements signed by Japanese anime studio Gonzo (Blood: The Last Vampire), Malaysian animation studio Funcel and Malaysia's National Film Development Corporation to produce Hang Tuah the animation! The protagonists....maybe? The antagonists...look so.. It sounds cool to me at first but I am being a bit skeptic about having non Malaysians to make an anime out of this legendary warriors, Hang Tuah and his friends. What more, I wonder are the voice actors gonna be Japanese too? I remember watching Silat Lagenda. That was awesome for our technology that time. But I think I shouldn't be all negative about Gonzo studio animating Hang Tuah because it's a collaboration....I think? Well, you guys can read more here and here . hehehehe
