I was just wondering aimlessly on Facebook trying to find something interesting on my news feed when suddenly I saw this -
Now, that certainly caught my eyes! I googled but no relevant hit came, there's only the real time news on twitter. And so it is true that there was an earthquake in the northeastern part of Myanmar. The tremor was so strong that the buildings in Bangkok were shaken by it!

The news is out on CNN but I only got to read about the news from here. Then I realised what an idiot I was, could have just checked CNN what! And from what I read, Myanmar was hit by earthquakes twice - the first one at 7 magnitude, followed by a 4.8 magnitude quake.
I hope that nothing serious happened like in Japan. Oh, worry not, there won't be any tsunami since the quakes took place inland and not anywhere near the coast or in the open sea.
