Trip To Singapore - East Coast Park

East Coast Park. (Not that far from the jetty to Pulau Ubin)

So, East Coast Park is down there and Pulau Ubin is up there. Not that far really.

I had been longing to go to this place, rent the roller blades, and just skate it out. The last time I did that was 13 years ago. And my roller blades now are all...rotting. I'm joking, plastic doesn't decay. =P Anyway, it was because of my bff - Greenie's picture of her doing inline skating at the park some years ago. I find that cool. I know we have Tasik Titiwangsa (where I remembered skating there too last time and got a couple of girls gave me that evil look maybe because I was fat and they didn't think I could skate wth) which is an awesome place too.

Anyway after Pulau Ubin, we made our moves to the mosque which is located near the East Coast Park. That's the only thing in Singapore that is turning me off. There's no such thing as prayer room, or surau at all places. You either go to masjid or pray at home. Kinda troublesome really.

Then we headed straight to the East Coast Park. Amazing how every place is so accessible by public transport. Well, it's up to you if you are willing to walk or not. Some may find 300m walk to bus stop everyday is insanely tiring. =P

Anyway, just gonna show the pics from now on.

Underground tunnel towards East Coast Park.

Kinda creepy since there were only two of us there at the time.

Another pro shot =P

Yeah, I'm good at this. LOL

This time we decided to just cycle casually, just chilling around the park. It was a great day, with the sea breeze, man just nice.

I love this pic

Our dinner. East Coast Park is kinda famous for the sambal stingray (pari bakar and sambal). We had that, plus bbq-ed chicken wings, and baby kailan.

Oh, and air tebu!!

Pardon my manner. So not going to a high tea. =P

More pictures of my raya there in Singapore later.

hehehehe

Koleksi Baju Raya =P

Few days ago, went to Kemaman to get new baju melayu for Hari Raya. hahaha..when it comes to this, I will just accept any baju as long as wearing it doesn't make me the centre of attention on that day. So, what do I have in my collection so far? =P Macam pengantin gitu. =P I don't remember this one. Hmmm My first Raya Aidilfitri away from home, 2007. In Melbourne with my friends from Melbourne Uni. How are you guys? Last year's culture night. Hehehehe. Ore to ore no imoto, Pam. But this purple baju melayu is not mine. My man Azman lent it to me. Thanks heaps man. =) But I guess I kinda like the pengantin one, though it did make me a bit 'famous' due to its glittering when exposed to light. I guess, I was once an Edward Cullen wahahahah! Ok, that's not funny. My bad. *ehem* ehem* The only complete family picture. With my Silat Cekak Hanafi gang at the end of 2006. What's up guys? =) So, this time around went to Kemaman, to this one shop at the basement level ...

Reconnect: My Journey Back to Blogging

Hello, fellow travel enthusiasts and friends of Malaysian adventures! It's been an incredible journey, one that saw me take an unexpected hiatus from blogging for more than three years. Life happened (more like COVID happened) —responsibilities, changes, and personal growth—but one thing remained constant: my love for exploring the beauty and diversity of Malaysia. With power to put Dillan on my back, comes great responsibility! Today, I'm excited to announce my return to the world of  blogging. It's a bit like revisiting an old friend and reminiscing about unforgettable experiences. As I dust off my keyboard and sift through the memories of past travels, I can't wait to reconnect with all of you and share new adventures. Reflecting on the Past During my hiatus, I took the time to recharge, reflect, and embark on new journeys, both physically and emotionally. I've explored different aspects of life, including my passion for raising awareness about autism, delved de...

cuti cuti malaysia (penang, johor bahru, singapore, melaka)

We start with... Penang!!! 5 hours after I reached Penang, I was busy helping my dad cleaning up the lawn. hehehehe..good boy! =P Later, me and my parents had nasi kandaq! Quite a heavy meal for breakfast, I know but thats pretty common in Penang, regardless of your colour skin. If you are a Penangite, you cant care less if its heavy or not. What you know is the food is gonna last you until lunch hour for another round of nasi kandaq or maybe some other meals.. The boys, back then it was still school holidays..thats why they only wake up aroun 9 -11 am... lazybums.. In JB..well..nothing much in JB I think..prefer Penang..hehehe no offence JB folks! =P Where is this again..Angsana Mall? UO? I don't remember.. In Singapore..was quite okay actually, only that, because we had Apish crying for us to carry him instead of him walking..it was a pretty tiring day... Arab St. I think... I think this bar/cafe/restaurant looks cool The masjid there The Family We just went where out feet taking...
