It All Started

May 2005. I started blogging. It was just after SPM results were released. I got kinda bored, not to mention bigger as well. LOL My first post was "How to serve like the great Sampras" Honestly, I didn't have any idea how to blog, or what to blog. Anyhow only. But it has turned out to be okay now. Oh and my first blog is the Friendster blog. Man, Friendster was the hype that time. I started when I was in Form 4 2003. My last post there on my Friendster blog was July 2007. Since then I've been using blogspot.

Why I am telling you all about this? Last Thursday I had my first basketball tournament in Morwell. I always have trouble performing my best whenever I am in an official match. And I thought of reading back the post I made on my Friendster blog years back which was about how I sucked throughout the competition. Not good, reading it back made me all nervous again. Could be God's way of motivating me, I saw three comments and there I saw this long, lengthy but motivational comment.

Sure enough, I felt better and more confident after reading this comment. I told myself, if I got to play (because I'm a sub LOL) I would give my all. And I must say, I didn't make any mistakes and it was my best performance so far in an official basketball match.

This friend of mine, even though we are not really really close, but I consider him as a good friend. Who will give you words of advice, so that you can rebound back. Not many can do that and want to do that as well. Heck, I don't think I can do it well even if I want to do it.

We first met during our 3 days 2 nights stay at Universiti Teknologi Petronas's Educamp Interview for Petronas Scholarship. We were in the same group with some other incredible and brilliant guys I've met so far in my 23 years of life. Having to study in schools where Malays are dominant, being able to make new friends with non Malays for the first time in 10 years I was excited. Thank God, it was Jimmy, as he was known at that time, as I was very comfortable talking, joking and discussing with him that time. I remember adding him on Friendster after the Educamp, and he commented on my wall, that I am so friendly to everyone regardless of skin colour and religion, something like that. Hahaha.

Anyway, don't want to make it as if this is a post dedicated to him LOL. I just wish and hope that Jimmy, where ever you are right now, you are doing great, and are always smiling as you have always been. =)

hehehehe
