Suatu Petang Yang Tenang Di Churchill

"Hey guys, what I'm about to tell you may be a bit shocking but, it's about time.."

"What is it?"

"I think it is time for me to break up with Orange"

"Hell to the NO!!!!"

Thomas bukan main bangkang lagi bila Dickson cakap macam tu.

"Relax Tom, iya kalau udah bukan jodoh. Buat apa dipaksain. Benar ngak,Dan?"

Ah, sudah. Alih-alih aku jugak yang kena jadi the 10th man..biarpun cuma ada 3 orang je dalam rumah ni sekarang.

"Yeahh..I don't know, Dick, I mean Dickson. It's your life, you do what you gotta do, man."
"But Danny, the free dinner, every night. We haven't cooked our own dinner ever since Orange is around."
"Well, Tom, we were just fine before Orange came along. It's no big deal. Hey, think of this as a breakup. Remember your ex..I mean, aaa-"

I mean, the last time Dickson tersebut pasal tu, Thomas 2 minggu tak makan dengan kami. Semuanya fish and chip Churchill dibahamnya.

"Yeah...but this is different!" tiba-tiba Thomas meninggikan suara.

Mana kau?? 어디에 (eodi??)

Tapi, ku sangkakan, panas, berpanjangan. Rupanya gerimis, ada gerimis mengundang..

Dah lama si Dickson pendamkan perasaan rupanya sampai la malam tadi dia tak tahan. Sebenarnya bertahan lamanya Dickson hanya kerana makan malam yang disediakan Orange. Tapi mungkin, Dickson has had enough of it all.

"I have to Tom. I can't take it anymore..."
"Why la Dickson, whyyyy!???"
"...you'd think that I'm such a jerk if I tell you why.."
"That's for me to tell, try me, dude."

"She has hairy armpits...and her breath smells like oyster..bad oyster..."

"WHATTT? I can't believe you'd break up with her over something superficial, shallow, like hairy armpits, bad breath! Don't you think she deserves to be loved for her heart, her good, motherlike, caring heart??! She is nice to us, she cooks us dinner, she makes desserts sometimes. Isn't that gooood??"

Aku hanya mampu menahan gelak mendengarkan apa yang Thomas cakap. Punyalah dia nak Orange kekal dengan Dickson. Aku dah rasa kesian bila tengok muka stress Dickson. Mungkin, Orange memang ada calit minyak dagu versi China dekat Dickson...

Dan dua saudara senusa bangsa, senegara itu terus meneruskan debat mereka, mempertahankan hujah pendirian masing-masing...sedang aku masih lagi tercari-cari bawang goreng Sugit. Aku rasa salah seorang mangkuk kat rumah ni dah rembat bawang goreng Sugit...jilaka! Kalau tak 2 orang ni, aku rasa Semun!

Reconnect: My Journey Back to Blogging

Hello, fellow travel enthusiasts and friends of Malaysian adventures! It's been an incredible journey, one that saw me take an unexpected hiatus from blogging for more than three years. Life happened (more like COVID happened) —responsibilities, changes, and personal growth—but one thing remained constant: my love for exploring the beauty and diversity of Malaysia. With power to put Dillan on my back, comes great responsibility! Today, I'm excited to announce my return to the world of  blogging. It's a bit like revisiting an old friend and reminiscing about unforgettable experiences. As I dust off my keyboard and sift through the memories of past travels, I can't wait to reconnect with all of you and share new adventures. Reflecting on the Past During my hiatus, I took the time to recharge, reflect, and embark on new journeys, both physically and emotionally. I've explored different aspects of life, including my passion for raising awareness about autism, delved de...

Hang Tuah The Animation?

Woah, woah! Read this at beautifulnara about a three way agreements signed by Japanese anime studio Gonzo (Blood: The Last Vampire), Malaysian animation studio Funcel and Malaysia's National Film Development Corporation to produce Hang Tuah the animation! The protagonists....maybe? The antagonists...look so.. It sounds cool to me at first but I am being a bit skeptic about having non Malaysians to make an anime out of this legendary warriors, Hang Tuah and his friends. What more, I wonder are the voice actors gonna be Japanese too? I remember watching Silat Lagenda. That was awesome for our technology that time. But I think I shouldn't be all negative about Gonzo studio animating Hang Tuah because it's a collaboration....I think? Well, you guys can read more here and here . hehehehe
