October has seen me won 2 awards. Me winning awards was totally out of picture last time. I didn't see it coming at all. In a way, it makes my stay in Gippsland memorable..aish, now it feels so hard to say goodbye to Gippsland when the time comes... =(

Worth coming..the meats were all HALAL!! XD

Abah sent me pictures yesterday, pictures from Raya in Penang. Hahahaha, he just knows that I want to see how everyone looked like on Hari Raya. From the pictures, Mak seems to have lost some weight, can see signs of aging on Abah, Adib as usual - hensem! LOL, Adik as usual..hehehe.., Baby now wearing tudung looks a bit matured =), and last one, Apish..he looks bored! Hahaha I don't think he likes posing for camera. =P

I love this picture. Too bad I wasn't in, it would have been better =P

Salam!! Hahaha, chill! That's nothing but just a gimmick! =P Hehehe..well, my mid semester 2 break 2009 was really fun and relaxing. I went on a Great Ocean Road trip on the 26th September - 28th September. It sure was tiring organising a last minute trip but thanks to my imoto - Pam, for being so greatly awesome!! Love ya babe! ;)

1st day - Apollo Bay. We stayed at this very dodgy place that I felt bad to have placed the students there... =(
Oh well, at least they enjoyed the trip.. There Pam was about to trip herself.. LOL

This year, Raya is great! I mean it. Well, the first year wasn't that bad either, just that I had to travel 2 freaking hours to Melbourne that year.
This year, everything is here - in Churchill,Morwell. Err..I didn't get to go to Sale where Abang Zainal's house is because I was sick. Yes, I got sick on the second day of raya, after I got back from Kak Ja's and Abang Akmal's house. And no, it wasn't food poisoning. It's the after-Ramadhan food shock. I shoved too much food on the first day, and no water also. Been drinking juices..That explain a lot =P

Yeah, last weekend I was on this Great Ocean Road trip organised by ISA. Before this I wasn't interested in this trip, cos there are only rocks! Boy, how wrong I was. The name Great Ocean Road, is truly great!!

I wanna talk more about this, but I am still looking for my memory stick adaptor to upload my pics. Damn!

Oh, I have been doing my lab reports also!! Hahaha, and my only assignment for this semester!! XD

Hmm, I wish bii to get well soon. She always falls sick.. =(

And my prayer goes to the victims of the earthquake and tsunami.. I hope my man Sugit will not worry too much and I am praying that his family is alright there. Sugit is my housemate from Padang, Indonesia.

Halo and salam! Oh, am taking a break from my critical review. Before this I never heard of it, but I guess it's not too bad eh?

I'm sure a lot of people are aware about genetically modified food. Short form -GM food. Or GMO; genetically modified organism. Well, I have to deal with GM potatoes. Huhuhuhu. Anyway, as I am doing this second assignment of mine, I realised one thing - I couldn't find more than 5 journals investigating on the health risk of GM food. Out of 5, 2 are literature review. So got 3 primary articles. And guess what, these studies show results which are in favour of GM food. Not that I am against GM food or what, just that I couldn't find the famous study led by Arpad Pusztai in which the result showed that GM potatoes fed to rats caused enlargement of gastrointestinal organs.

He was then working at this institute in London, was asked to test the safety of GM foods. After the discover, he got interviewed, yada yada, then got fired, was threatened not to publish the study. I could only find the letter, and abstract of most of his studies on GM foods..hmm

Interesting, no?

I haven't heard of GM salmon..got one or not? =P

p/s: In case someone's wondering why is it such a big deal having the organs enlarged, it might be precancer, if not cancer.

What is? The bandung cincau I had last night at rumah Abang Kamal. PERGHHH!!! SYIOK!!! If only got ice, then ada UMPPHHH already!! XD
And I forgot to take few pics last night. So no picture at all from rumah Abang Kamal!!

Anyway, we had nasi tomato, sup tulang, daging masak merah, ayam kentucky..man, it's heaven. That was after Maghrib actually. Before Maghrib we had roti jala with curry, bingka roti n home made pizza from the budak2 bujang (tastilicious!!), popia pedas tapi manis, and...kuih lapis? Yeah I think so. So far I haven't contributed anything yet..=_= sigh.. I was planning to let them try kuih kaswi, but by 5 pm still not done yet. And when I got back home last nite, still not done yet!! =_=" I guess not enough tapioca flour? Maybe...

Now, 16 Ramadhan, the second half of Taqwa Cup has begun. So, I am gonna do better than the previous half, Insya Allah.

Man, I thought I will be way, way more productive this Ramadhan. Well, only a bit. You know how everyday when I wake up after Subuh, I am annoyed by my own laziness? Seriously dude!! WAKE UP!!!

On the other hand, had good time break fasting with the Malays. ;) Terubat rindu. Some snapshots of the time I spent with them. Now we have Abang Syed,his wife and 2 kids - Denish and Dania. Abang Syed already got a PR here. Good stuff really. And also we have Mejar Zainal who is from RMAF. He will be working here until next year. He is also with his wife, 2 sons and 1 daughter. Mak was like "Kenapa tak bagitau mak pon orang Penang, abah dulu kerja kat airforce!" hahaha. Sooner or later they will find out about it =P

Praise be to God, I managed to wake up at 4 am to prepare my sahur. I couldn't sleep really, until 2.30 am. So that means I only had like 1.5 hours of sleep? Hahaha, its all good.

Had a quite a long convo with my family last night. Got a lot of stuffs to catch up with; budak gemok with his 'H1N1' symptoms, Apish and his bleeding nose, Mak with the ayam organik thing. Hahaha.. my bro Adib, all the way from Sarawak texted me, wishing me all good in this month. Thanks a lot bro! ;)

I had daging masak merah and my signature dish, fried cabbage. This time, with soy sauce not turmeric. Bugger..forgot to snap a pic of my sahur..

ANyway, while I was cooking I got this message from Bii, she was about to go to bed, and will wake up later around 5 am Singapore time, 7 am Melbourne time. Wish you have a good day ahead of you =)

Well it's already Subuh, so I better get going to pray now. Till then, I wish all Muslims around the world, Ramadhan al Mubarak! May this Ramadhan be better than last year's.

I guess at certain points of our lives, we will stop, reminisce and smile to ourselves. And the crowd that walk past by will be like, "Siao!"

2 nights ago, I had this dream. I was with my high school friend but I cant remember who is it. Anyway, we went to this, orphanage kinda place (seriously, I dono what is that place). There, we saw all of our high school friends, but the ones I remember vividly - John a.k.a Ridhuan Amri, Nije a.k.a Nizam, Fazlina, Nawal, Hasniza and if I'm not wrong Aishah also was there? Hahahah..

Me and my friend were surprised to find them there. So we spent our time talking, catching up, having meals together. The thing is I remember how the place looked like. The old surau in SESMA, the wooden one. It was quite nostalgic. Somehow, my friends asked the ustaz in charge of the place to let me and my friends stay there for a while, but he refused. And then I said, its ok, next time we will visit you guys again. They just nodded, and waved. At that instance, tears just flowed down my cheeks. I thought I was still in that dream, but I was actually awake! It's hard to describe how I felt that time, there was nothing sad about that dream but I actually came to tears!! Wah lao...

Just now, I decided to check my batch website. I still remember the link, I bet everyone has not been paying that old site a visit. So to my SESMARIAN batch 27, nah, the link http://www.batch27.cjb.net.

Pheww...it sure has been a long time since my last post.

As cliche as it may sound, LAZY has always been the reason.
Now...imagine LAZY is not a word, but a person.
And this person of course happens to be a guy. Male/Man/Guy = LAZY
(I think that equation is no alien to us. LOL)
Wondering how LAZY would feel if he keeps being blamed for the things he's not aware of? My brother would obviously get all worked up and defend himself. Well, LAZY is different. The name itself is explicable - he is just too lazy to do all the things that 'normal' people do.

....hehehehe....

What a complete utter rubbish post..
