That One Week Part 2

Yeap, let's continue with Part 2 of my That One Week.
My flight departed around 3 pm on the 21st June. I was planning to stay at Tommy's place in Sunway once I landed. I got out of the plane around 9 pm, and after hanging out down there at the arrival hall, deciding whether to take KLIA Express or the cab to Sunway, I went for a cab which cost me RM60. Since it was almost 10 pm and KTM service terminates around that time too (if not, the long waiting time is another reason not to take the risk to take KLIA Express) I think it's a pretty good decision. Though it hurt me (and the pocket too) to see RM60 just gone like that. heh

It was great to see Tommy again. Like he said, all the walking he's done in Sunway has made him lose a couple of kg. Impressive! ;)

Mr. Tommy Irianto and his awesome apartment.

Decent and nice place really.

So what did I do in Sunway? Well, lunch at Sunway Pyramid, cook dinner with Tommy for old time sake when we always did that last time in South 1. The good old days..
Tried making Creamy Curry Chicken with the help of Kevin's recipe. But I guess too much butter makes it buttery rather than creamy =P

'Butter' chicken curry =P

Watched Alice in Wonderlands which was pretty good and interesting.

Tommy seems to have a great time in Sunway campus. There's drama club (or is it theater? sorry Tom!) and since he's into singing and acting he signed up for it. Tommy really has the talent in acting. You know why? There was this one time when we had our dinner last year in South 1, Tommy just suddenly collapsed on the kitchen's floor. Red fluids flowing out from his mouth, and the first thing came to our minds at the time - blood! Tommy got poisoned or something - that's what we thought. He was lying there, not moving an inch. Most of us were speechless, silent at first. I remembered shouting, Call 911! Call 911! The girlfriend was there too I remembered, and she was just stunned, Pam was about to be hysterical and the others reaching to the house phone to make a call to the security, RAs and the paramedic too I guess?

Not long after that, he and Calvin laughed. We were like, WTH??!?!?! Pam was really mad because she was so worried and almost cried, she didn't talk to Tommy for days. LOL
Dicky was like, I knew it already, this guy is an actor. Me? I simply couldn't believe it that it was just an act. He showed me the fake blood he and Calvin bought from a magic shop in Melbourne. The original plan was to have both he and Calvin - oh now I remember, Tommy was first coughing blood before he collapsed. And the plan was to have Calvin to do the same thing first. But he screwed up or something so he didn't get to do it. So much free time huh, these two baskets.. =_=

That was the part 2. I hope to see Tommy and Calvin some time this year before he went on an exchange program to Caulfied campus next year.

hehehehe

Reconnect: My Journey Back to Blogging

Hello, fellow travel enthusiasts and friends of Malaysian adventures! It's been an incredible journey, one that saw me take an unexpected hiatus from blogging for more than three years. Life happened (more like COVID happened) —responsibilities, changes, and personal growth—but one thing remained constant: my love for exploring the beauty and diversity of Malaysia. With power to put Dillan on my back, comes great responsibility! Today, I'm excited to announce my return to the world of  blogging. It's a bit like revisiting an old friend and reminiscing about unforgettable experiences. As I dust off my keyboard and sift through the memories of past travels, I can't wait to reconnect with all of you and share new adventures. Reflecting on the Past During my hiatus, I took the time to recharge, reflect, and embark on new journeys, both physically and emotionally. I've explored different aspects of life, including my passion for raising awareness about autism, delved de

Hang Tuah The Animation?

Woah, woah! Read this at beautifulnara about a three way agreements signed by Japanese anime studio Gonzo (Blood: The Last Vampire), Malaysian animation studio Funcel and Malaysia's National Film Development Corporation to produce Hang Tuah the animation! The protagonists....maybe? The antagonists...look so.. It sounds cool to me at first but I am being a bit skeptic about having non Malaysians to make an anime out of this legendary warriors, Hang Tuah and his friends. What more, I wonder are the voice actors gonna be Japanese too? I remember watching Silat Lagenda. That was awesome for our technology that time. But I think I shouldn't be all negative about Gonzo studio animating Hang Tuah because it's a collaboration....I think? Well, you guys can read more here and here . hehehehe
